What a great adventure.
What a great lesson! What a wonderful idea! I do hope you are able to do the same thing in the US. Colorado needs your help. Great work and carry on.

Awesomeness!
I love reading about your adventures through your travel blog! You are an amazing person doing amazing things!! :D It makes me sad how American high school students seem to look at school as a chore rather than a privilege. These students look so engaged and willing to learn! It's nice to see that there are many places where young people acknowledge the true importance of their education! I wish you the best of luck with everything! You'll do wonderful at it all! For sure!!! =) =)

Leah, You bring us all so much closer to what and how you are living right now, I am bursting with pride at your accomplishments! It only solidifies my feeling that you are going to do GREAT things with what you are learning and experiencing during this journey. You bring life to what you write and I couldn't be prouder to be your auntie! Love you and hugs to you from all of us here in Littleton!!!!

Hi baby!!! My gosh - I just LOVE reading this - been over it a couple times and will visit it again. It puts me right with you - I can imagine the scene very easily thanks to your skilled writing. Applause!!!!!!!
Sweetheart, as we finish digesting your blog, we see more of what you are. Last year we gathered over 250 pictures of your experience and created a video for you set to music. After viewing it we told you that the result proved you qualified as not only a wildlife photographer, but that we thought you could become a travel (travelogue) guide for anyone wishing to experience the wilderness. Now, after your early time back in Tanzania this year, we believe you definitely possess the capacity to instruct. The teaching bug has bitten. Go for it. You'll outshine most others presently in that capacity. Back when you wrote Colorado State to gain acceptance, you showed a flash of writing skills, and this blog simply proves that you have that under control as well. We're sure your Aunt Laurie, a trained writer herself, would likely agree to that. Not everyone has so much from which to choose. We are extremely proud of you.....even so.....as grandparents, we continue to be concerned for your health and safety. That is a part of us. In the meantime, take special care, we love you and miss you. And remember what Grandma always - you're number one.

Hi baby! Again,. LOVE your posts! This is so wonderful - I feel like I am in your back pocket at times! I won't worry about you if I don't hear from you - will just imagine you laying back, checking out the stars, counting the constellations, and listening for cheetahs. Love you, baby girl. Safe travels. Love, Mom

Info
Great travelogue baby. You're right - churches are missing their opportunities, some things never change. Anyway, remember what we passed on (from the internet) to you about dogs (dogs aren't the pets we're used to at home - best left alone). Also, how come no boots (or shoes), flipflops=bad, inviting bugs and snakes.

I Love you so much, can't wait till you get home but not yet...you still have so much to see. Until your birfday, Love You!

I am using the bottle. I have not had a single mosquito bite (as far as I have been able to tell. All the bugs I have been seeing are flies or wasps. Do not worry about me at all. You don't know about the areas that I have been in, bt I do since I'm living here, so I know what lives around me. and I take my malaria meds every day
