Hi! My name is Luis, I'm a 20 year old guy from Spain and Mexico. My dad is mexican and my mom spanish and I was born in Mexico City where I lived until the age of 15, afterwards we moved to Kenya due to my parents' job and it was there where I realized travelling was my thing along with photography. I enjoy travelling, photographing and then writting about what I've seen, my impressions and then illustrating it with my pictures. I lived in Kenya for three years; the most exciting years of my life so far. I discovered myself in this place and I fell in love with Africa, its people, places, nature... everything. Now I've been living in Spain for 2 years; last year I started a Media and Communications degree in the University of Malaga but it wasn't really my thing so this year I moved to the University of Granada and started a degree in Fine Arts, which I absolutely love. Right now I travel whenever I can and during the holidays to visit my parents so for now I'll be updating the blog with my most recent trips and then with my trips since 2003, when I started photographing and taking notes. Hope you like the blog!

This day was certainly one of the most interesting days in our whole trip. We visited a typical Catalonian town close to Tremp named Figuerola d’Orcau. Everything was so much different here compared to where I live and the towns around; not just the construction, but also the vegetation, the people… it didn’t really feel the same to be honest. The town was very nice, it looked a bit isolated so it gave me the impression of a typical town where old people live and everyone knows everyone but only the few children in town go out to play. The day began quite rainy and by the time we arrived it was still raining a little bit, this weather sort of gave me a different impression of the town, it sort of transported me back to ... read more
After a good night's sleep at Vicky's house we woke up to the sound of my mobile phone around 9am; my uncle was calling to check where we were and when were we getting to Lleida. This call set up our plans for the rest of the trip. I told my uncle we had stayed in Madrid for the night and that we would most likely take the night bus to Barcelona to arrive the next day cause we wanted to visit my grand aunt and check out Goya's exposition in El Prado Museum. But my uncle had already reserved a room for us that night, so we had no other choice but to change our plans. He suggested a different route, instead of taking a bus to Barcelona and then another one to Lleida, we ... read more
The road to the Pyrenees starts, and not precisely in the best way. After two intense weeks of work at university, a night of friends and beers and a few bus drivers going crazy in downtown Granada, I finally arrive to the bus station and realize with horror that I've missed the one and only bus that I could take so that I'd be in time to pick up my sister at the airport in Madrid. It is my sister's first time traveling by herself, she is coming from Kenya (where she has been living with my parents for the past five years) and has never moved around Madrid by herself, she doesn't have a mobile phone and I'm going to be more than 4 hours late, great... I start to get really irritated about ... read more
In the following days I will be starting a route towards the Catalonian Pyrenees with my sister (who I've got to pick up in Madrid next wednesday 14th) to assist to my youngest cousin's first communion. This trip is going to be a bit improvised due to economic factors that did not allow me to buy or make ticket reservations before traveling; my sister and I have to find an easy, cheap and fast way to get to Barcelona so that we can later on head to Lleida easily. For now the basic plan is the following: Wednseday 14th - 9hrs Bus Granada - Madrid 15hrs Pick up my sister at Madrid Barajas Airport 22hrs Train Madrid - Barcelona Thursday 15th 8hrs Train Barcelona - Lleida 11hrs Train Lleida - Tremp Sunday 18th Communion Monday 19th ... read more
