Well I finished up work now and I'M SOOOOOO HAPPPPY ABOUT THAT!!!! I only had one day off before we headed to Wilkie, Saskatchewan for my cousin Jordan's wedding to Tamara. A couple of cousins, my brother and his gf and my parents and I drove in a 3 car convoy from Calgary to Wilkie and just outside of Stettler my dad who was bringing up the rear and was speeding up to catch up to the others and got pulled over by the cops and given a $166 speeding ticket. Not the best start to the weekend. We drove through rain almost the whole way but it was party sunny in Wilkie when we arrived. We met up with everyone at the campground and had some bbq and some drinks and visited. Was fun! The ... read more

So my mom and dad are season ticket holders for the Calgary Stampeders who are our Canadian Football team here. Since dad was busy with driving he decided not to go to the game so I got to go to the game with mom. We went down a bit early and went to the tailgate party. It was good but except that this year they seem to have really cracked down on the drinking at the tailgate's. The Stamps were playing the Saskatchewan Roughriders. It was a really good game. The weather started off great but then quickly turned not so nice. A storm was blowing in and the winds were getting crazy! Debris was flying all over the field. We didn't really get rained on or anything and the storm seems to be drifting by ... read more

So my mom and I decided to go out to the trailer in Sundre for an overnighter. It would be my last chance to get out there and dad was busy driving so it was just me and mom. In the morning I had to get over to Travelcuts to pick up my working visas. This is when I discovered something that has thrown a big wrench into my plans! Because I have been granted a working visa for Australia I have 12 months to go to the country to activate it. But the same goes for my NZ visa. So, if I actually decide to go to Australia to see my friends first then my Aus visa activates and unfortunetly then both my NZ and Aus visas would expire at the same time next fall. ... read more

Well I thought since I have a few friends all over the world I would post up a few pictures of the part of Canada I'm from for them to see. All these pics have been taken in the last couple of months. Just click on any picture and it will open up a bigger window to see them better. I went on a roadtrip to Drumheller from Calgary with a friend of mine. Drumheller is where the Hoo Doo's are and lots of dinosaur fossils have been found in this area. It's about an hour and a bit northeast of Calgary. We had a good time and took some great pics! The city i'm from is Calgary and every year for 10 days in July we have the Calgary Stampede. A big rodeo with rides ... read more
