The weather was pretty interesting all evening, with a bit of rain and a vicious lightening storm along the entire southern horizon. We enjoyed the show for a while, then got into the tent for the night. The wind started picking up, and then began a relentless assault on our tent - we tried to wait it out, assuming it couldn’t last [View Full Entry]

Spent a couple days exploring some of the trails in the [View Full Entry]

Hi all, we are at the beginning of our journey and wanted to get our travel blog set up so when we have something interesting to report, we can send you the link! So far we've hit up Cuyamaca (only 40 miles from San Diego...), then Tortilla Flats near Phoenix, AZ, and yesterday met up with our friend Ryan and went to a spring training game, then unexpectedly a BBQ with the Padres themselves. If only I knew who any of them were, I might've been impressed! All for now, we're hitting the road for southeastern Arizona and will then have [View Full Entry]
