Thursday March 31, 2011 We had breakfast of a pastry that was a carmel, leche (milk) topping - and of course pineapple juice - we then walked over to Carpios. We all got in the Nissan truck and went to Minesview park ( where there used to be gold mined) We went up to the top of the mountain - took pictures of the mountains - then dressed in native costume and took pictures - then we shopped for souveniors - ate corn on the cob that was boiled and on a stick. Later Pap & I got up in the early morning and did some reading and talking - When the kids got up we breakfasted on Dunkin Donuts and fresh mango - also hot coffee We packed up and cleaned up the house we are staying in and Art came to pick us up at 9 am but said that we could not go to Doans Rest until ... read more

Wednesday 3/23/11 5:00am met at CIBC - Josh, Elizabeth, Pastor Tom & Becky saw us off in the Beauville - Bob & Nancy Jefferies drove us down - rainy and just one potty stop - to the airport and by 8am we had our tickets with no glitches. Checked all the bags and OK weights - went to gate area and had a Subway breakfast sandwich - said goodbye to Jefferis through the glass and then boarded the "puddle jumper" It is Jackie's first flight - John had center back seat with room for his long legs. In Newark - Ate lunch at food court - the kids ate Chinese, I had a Med flatbread and frozen yougurt - Steve didn't eat.
