So Wednesday 10th December 2008 Amy arrived in Australia!!!! We met at Perth Airport, the weather was officially the worst days weather I’d seen all year rainy and cloudy and a bit miserable which was bad luck for Amy on her first day but anyway we made our way back to the hostel we were staying at Underground which is a nice newish big hostel in Northbridge. I’d already spent 10 days in Perth not really doing much, wisdom teeth had been bad and not got much money plus had my purse stolen so had just been chilling out really. I flew with Jetstar to Darwin at 1pm, was good to be flying and finally travelling again, sat next to a french guy on the plane who had similar travel/work plans to me so we got chatting. Toni picked me up afrom the airport and took me and him to Chillis hostel. I stayed at Chillis for 2 nights and looked about Darwin. Darwin was extremely hot like 35 and boiling in the midday sun, the centre of the town is not very big and mainly consists of one main street....Mitchell St. it reminds me of a party town in spain with all bars and restaurants down it, also
