What a fantastic journey! - From: Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu
Hey guys, So sorry to hear of your sad news, I'm really pleased that you were able to make it to both funerals despite the difficulties you endured. I have loved reading your tales of your adventures and it's been fantastic to see all your photos. Dave is right in saying the last ones from MP are absolutely stunning. It's somewhere I've always fancied going and you really have inspired me to try and do something about achieving my own travel goals! Really looking forward to a proper catch up chat sometime in the not to distant future. It's dawned on me that I have no idea what your plans were for your return.....

Hi Guys, The pictures of MP are stunning, and it must of been ace watching the fog roll back to reveal the remains. A fitting end to your travels That guinea pig reminds me of Aliens 4 when a baby alien explodes out of Ripley

Back home in the USA! - From: The Future's So Bright...
Good to know they let Lachlan back into the country. So glad you were able to spend time w/ Shelly & DeAnn & family. Is it weird being back in a country where MOST everyone speaks English? We are suppose to have more snow this week. Maybe we will have snow when you come back home in Mar! It was so good to talk to you the other night. DeAnn filled us in on how you looked & Lachlan's scar & if you are healthy. You get a thumbs up! Only 2 more months & then it is back to the real world. Will you be ready? Have a good time in South America. Joe, your cousin, says not to go to Columbia or Nicauragua or Bolivia. Americans disappear there. Still miss you. What do you want to eat when you get home? Some pasta? LOVE MOM!!!! Give me a list of food I can fix.

leaving - From: The Future's So Bright...
It looks like you found a great place to end this part of your trip. The scenery is great and seems to be an idealic place to relax and take life easy. You will be back in the U.S. by the time that you read this and it will all be a memory. The beach bungalow looked a little questionable. It looks like Lachlan sitting on the bed(?) in the shadows. I look forward to talking to you both about your whole trip when you are back.

PUPPY! - From: Float Trip in December--Lao-style!
Did they cut the doggy's head off? Or kill it some other way? Was it quick? Did the doggy cry??? Everything else sounds great, especially meals with valium ground up in them (its been a stressful month), but that dog thing is disturbing.

Buddha - From: Bangkok's Top 10
The photos are great as usuall. The Buddha statues are different that what you usually think of (a sitting fat guy). Glad you are finding things more relaxing. I not sure who has the worst hairdo Ernst or Lachlan. I'm thinking maybe Lachlan. I was glad to see that Ernst is holding together well through all the traveling. Think of us while you are basking in the sun over Christmas as we have about 6-7" of snow and is below 32 degrees F. Thanks for the emails.

MISS YOU! - From: Bangkok's Top 10
Will we recognize you @ the airport?! Those massages sound awesome. Can you mail back a person to do those massages here? The weather sounds so nice, we are suppose to have 2-4" of snow today. Don't you miss fighting traffic to get to work in a snowstorm? There are SO many things to look forward to when you get back home. Do they celebrate Christmas @ all there? Hershey says "HI!". She is missing you. Too bad you can't get to Vietnam. Dad & I have such "fond" memories of that place from the 60's & 70's. So glad you are having a good time, just be safe & be careful of what you eat. Will be you satisfied w/ my home cooking when you get back home? What about barbecued ribs--Lachlan--making you hungry yet? Waiting for you to call again soon. Enjoy your pictures! LOVE MOM!!!!

Lachlans " not shaving" - From: The Sun Sets on Bharat... Goodnight India
I would like to dispute the fact that Lachlan isn't shaving... there is no proof of it on his face. I haven't shaved in a week and have more facial hair than he does. Either you lie or he has no... balls :)

ahhhh India. - From: Breaking News: Sightings of Ganesh Drownings and India Beats Pakistan
I'm sorry to hear you've hit reality in India with the poverty. You'll never look at things the same. However, Goa is the party capital of India! Think Key West during spring break! Also- have you realized that NONE of the men on TV are good looking, but all the women are absolutely beautiful? No wonder why there is a rebellion against arranged marriages from Indian women!
