Well on my way to Dharamshala was probably one of the most interesting adventures of my journey! I reached Haridwar and brought a ticket for my first 15 hour night journey on the most local run down bus you can ever imagine! I reached Haridwar at 4 in the morning and started asking around for taxi's who were charging way too much so I ended up getting a local bus, which reached Rishikesh at about 4:30. After reaching I caught an auto to an ashram which was fully booked, therefore I crossed the Luxman Jula bridge at 5am and just seeing the sight of the Himalayas at that peaceful time was breathtaking! Me and Mike arrived in Delhi at about 11ish, Vish and Preeti came to pick us up and we had to go straight to the airport to drop mike off as his flight was at 2am in the morning. My plan was to stay in Delhi only a few days and move on but i ended up staying there for nearly a week! After arriving in Bikaner at 5am, we checked into a really nice Haveli. We both went to sleep for a good 5/6 hours and then we were on our way to the Mandir. We were going to catch the bus there and then after meeting this persuasive rickshaw driver we decided to go with him. So I reached after my tiring journey at 7am in the morning and Sanjay and Michael came to pick me up. As I reached back to Priya's after meeting everyone I went to sleep for about 5 hours. On my way back to Jodhpur I called the family and asked someone to pick up one of my friends that was coming, but in fact it was me and I wanted to surprise them. So one of the sons came to pick me up but apparently he and his cousin figured it out! We arrived in Pushkar at about 5am and tried to find a guesthouse, we visited one, which we were not very pleased with and asked someone else to take us to a descent one. After meeting Gaby on the bus on the way to Udaipur, we became good friends within our 7 hour bus trip, therefore we decided to get a rickshaw together and stay at the same guest house. We dropped off our backpacks at the guest house and went for a walk as it was still afternoon. I arrived in Mt Abu in the evening, went to the guest house and just chilled out that evening. The next morning I went to see the Nakki lake and had a nice walk around and it was so peaceful and very romantic as everyone there were on there honeymoon from Gujarat!
