There after on the 2nd Jan im off to travel around India for four months.

This is the same kind of bus I took on my 15 hour journey
Well on my way to Dharamshala was probably one of the most interesting adventures of my journey! I reached Haridwar and brought a ticket for my first 15 hour night journey on the most local run down bus you can ever imagine! I wasn't trying to be overly adventurous it was actually the only way to get there. So I waited until my bus departed at 4pm and realised I was sitting right at the front with the ticket inspectors, I wasn't surprised actually the ticket guy was in shock that I was by myself hence he gave me that seat! View from Luxman Jula
I reached Haridwar at 4 in the morning and started asking around for taxi's who were charging way too much so I ended up getting a local bus, which reached Rishikesh at about 4:30. After reaching I caught an auto to an ashram which was fully booked, therefore I crossed the Luxman Jula bridge at 5am and just seeing the sight of the Himalayas at that peaceful time was breathtaking! No one was around or to be seen, actually for a change not even a dog! This is when I thought wow; I know why I wanted to come back here. Pushkar's Markets
We arrived in Pushkar at about 5am and tried to find a guesthouse, we visited one, which we were not very pleased with and asked someone else to take us to a descent one. So once we were happy with one I tried to bargain down the price of the room and he wasn't having any of it. So we accepted it and left our luggage there to walk down to the lake to catch sunrise. Baring in mind we had no idea where we were going and at that time not many people are out on the streets and the people that are out are not the kind of people you would ask. Sunset on Lake Pichola
After meeting Gaby on the bus on the way to Udaipur, we became good friends within our 7 hour bus trip, therefore we decided to get a rickshaw together and stay at the same guest house. We dropped off our backpacks at the guest house and went for a walk as it was still afternoon. We found this really nice south Indian restuarant and had Masala Dosa and i think that was the first time Gaby had tried Indian food whilst she has been in India. Nakki Lake
I arrived in Mt Abu in the evening, went to the guest house and just chilled out that evening. The next morning I went to see the Nakki lake and had a nice walk around and it was so peaceful and very romantic as everyone there were on there honeymoon from Gujarat! Lol So later on that day I went to sunset point which was really strange as everyone was looking at me thinking what is she doing by herself! Anyway so I found a nice spot away from all the couples and was soon joined by this girl from Germany, so we started talking and found out we were staying in the same place therefore walked back together and I didn't look so strange anymore. Waiting at Jaipur Train station
I arrived in Jaipur on the 5th evening and the whole clan came to pick us up, which was great. I stayed in Jaipur until the 7th night when my train was leaving to go to Jaisalmer. So it left at 1 in the morning when it was meant to leave at 11:30, anyway I’m getting really used to the delays. Therefore I reached Jaisalmer on the 8th at about 2pm. I was sharing a cabin with a group of business men and other people kept coming into our cabin to take a picture with this one guy, which I found really strange! Me and my cuz at the wedding
Hey everyone! Happy new year and may everyone have a better year then the last! Ok where do i start, the last time i updated this was in Munnar. There after i went on to Thekkady (Periyar national park), me and my brother went trekking thinking we will at least see an elephant but i'm afraid all we saw was a monkey! lol (Like we couldn't see that outside the sanctuary). It was a nice place though! Then we went to Kumarakum stayed there a few nights and got on a house boat to allepey, which was amazing! Hey guys, I'm in Munnar at the moment, it really is breathtaking! The mountains, tea plantations, oh and the speed boat ride we went on today at the damn was excellent. Sorry i haven't updated since i've left but its been so manic, firstly my flight to Mumbai was 5 1/2 hours late. Then i was just constantly shopping everyday in Gujarat. Yes i made Ravi take me shopping, we also went out to watch a indian movie, which started an hour later! Bloody indian timing!! After reaching Mumbai i continued shopping lol! i must say my uncles wedding was the most organized and the best wedding i've ever been to.
