I like travelling on planes because you get to play games, watch the map of where you are, and watch movies. I like to visit old towns and castles and seeing the countryside in different countries.

Today mummy, daddy and I went into the city again - we walked again. We went back to Capitol Hill and we saw the Forum and Trajan's Column. Trajan's Column formed a story with pictures carved into the surface of the column. I don't know how big the column was, but it was probably 15 metres high. We also went to the Trevi Fountain. This fountain is carved with lots of people in it. I think the fountain is made out of marble. It had a lot of water pouring out of it. The legend says that if you throw a coin into the fountain, you will return to Rome. We did not throw a coin in that day becasue there were so many people there. It was also raining, so we kept walking. Next we ... read more

Today mummy, daddy and I went to the supermarket to get some food. The supermarkets in Rome are different to Australia because they don't have toys and they have a lot of cheese (I don't like the smell of the cheese here - it is very smelly). They are much smaller than Australia and are just located in the neighbourhood. Then we walked to Capitol Hill which is where the Mayor's Palace is located. It was so, so hot today. When we got to Capitol Hill, we had a drink out of "Big Nose" - it was fun. I saw an Ape ute today. They are not pronounced like ape like a monkey, they are pronounced "are-pay". They only have three wheels (one at the front and two at the back) and we don't have them ... read more

Today mummy, daddy and I had showers and breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast was very nice. I had a fried egg and some coco-pops. I also had a waffle with maple syrup which was very yummy and I enjoyed it alot. Our flight was 2 hours late leaving because of the 40 planes delayed yesterday by the typhoon. I watched the Lorax on the plane. The Korean Air hostess gave me a little fun pack that I could play with on the plane. The food was OK on the plane, but was not great - it was "plane food". I got a strawberry milk and some other snacks as well as my meal. We flew via Milan. In Rome we were picked up by Davide, the son of the lady we were renting the apartment from. ... read more

Today mummy, daddy and I got delayed four hours leaving Brisbane because of a typhoon in Korea. The plane trip was very exciting because it was my first time landing in a typhoon. There was a group of Asian schoolgirls on the plane also. They were a bit scared by the typhoon as we landed, and were screaming (but in a good way). We had a rough landing because of the typhoon and we had to wait on the tarmac in Incheon for 45 minutes before we could pull into a terminal. We were very tired that night and I went straight to bed after we arrived at the Hotel.... read more
