So I left Luang Prabang a little sad because I really liked this place. Then arrived in Vang Vieng that evening. People have started to slate Vang Vieng because its becoming too touristy and it's lost its soal and to a certain extent this is true. I left my island adventure and headed back to Bangkok, 3rd visit now. Just stayed there two days whilst trying to sort my Vietnam visa out. They take three days to process and I had one till my flight! So I had to hand over a little extra money to 'Grease the cogs' and hurry the process up a little. After some of the worst turbulence ever I was back in Bangkok after flying from Vietnam. I did have a little trouble in the airport however... I'd just checked by backpack in and was heading to the departure lounge when suddenly security were chancing after me, shit! Had to get back to Phnom Penh for my bus to Vietnam. Had to kill a day waiting for my visa to be processed and I'd heard 2/3rds of the Irish mob I lived with in Sydney were in town. Temple time! After the Killing fields and so on, the next big thing in Cambodia are the Angkor Wat temples in Siem Reap. This is the highlight of Cambodia and a national treasure; they are so proud of them and with good reason. It is often stated there are no better temples anywhere in the world. So I had to see them!
