Sitting around waiting for the fireworks chatting and having a laugh. Then the first lot came at 9pm I thought they were amazing enough. We have been to blue mountains from sydney which was absoutely beautiful the sceenery was amazing but the campsite was poor. We thought it was good but according to a couple we met and got chatting to they had travelled from the north coast and thought that this campsite was http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/New-South-Wales/Blue-Mountains/blog-365990.html It was probably the poor weather and lack of good choice of campsite and non exsistant nightlife that we were not prepared for after being in the hustle and bustle of sydney but we weren't impressed with wollognong which a small seaside town just south of sydney and right at the last minute decided we wanted to travel north towards the east coast where it is always sunny etc. Spur of the moment th http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/Australia/New-South-Wales/Wollongong/blog-365991.html Coffs Harbour is a little busier than the other towns and we have booked into a nice socialable hostel.
