Comparing Visits Nice write up & photos! It's interesting to compare your impressions of Cuba with my own. We've now been to Havana twice, also by cruise ship. I've blogged about our latest visit here on TB. By and large I think we have similar takeaways. On our second visit, we wondered about Havana on our own, and saw another nighttime show which was even better than that of our first visit. We fell in love with Cuban music! Maybe next time we'll have to visit the La Parisienne too!
Starship VT Thanks for writing. We also want to go back. This time we'd like to get out to the country, maybe try a resort. We hear they have some great beaches.
Best wishes on your travels.

Bermuda et al Never know where you guys will pop up. Ahhh sea days-love 'em. Hope there will be more as the trip progresses.
Didn't realize that Capt Dag skippered the Voyager. Thought he had left Regent before Voyager. They really did him dirt, didn't they.
Happy Sailing on the Pond.

Love that long ocean crossing with so many "at sea" days. Very relaxing. Also love the fact that you LABEL your pictures, adding to the enjoyment of viewing. Happy sailing - maybe we'll see you next time in S.F.
Enjoyed this trip! We took this trip a year ago and loved it so much! As a reminder, we were with you May 24, 2011 on the Voyager leaving from Rome. We have been on the Explorer twice, LA to Miami, and a 10 day Caribbean to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with our daughter. We are headed on the Explorer again this June for two back to back cruises....England, Scotland, Ireland and then the Baltic’s! Will we see you?... we love your blogs and really hope our paths cross again sometime!
Arun & Christina Thanks for writing!
We remember you. Too bad we couldn’t have shared this one. We would do it again because we love sea days. Ciao ciao!
Caribbean Breeze It was exciting to read about the selfless Tasman Sea rescue again. Hats off to the Captain and crew. Love the Barrier Reef off Belize (must note I've never been to the Great Barrier Reef, though) and just love that you are both out there drift snorkeling for an hour. Your adventurous spirit makes me smile. xo Steph
Cuban Nights So jealous that you visited Cuba. I've wanted to go for the longest time, before too many changes take place. But with your reports of glacial pace, perhaps I have time. My roommate in college was from Cuba, and I heard so many stories. Thrilled to get your perspective, too. xo Steph
Capt. Stan's rescue My husband (Bob McNeill) and I were on that cruise with you and Capt. Stan and his amazing rescue. It brought back wonderful memories of that cruise, and others we've shared with you as hosts. We love your blogs.
Just read your narrative about the rescue, WOW......how fortunate for the fella in trouble that Voyager was able to come to the rescue! So you guys are back on Regent!! Awesome! We haven’t cruised on Regent in a long time......anxious to find just the right trip for us and get back in the groove.
Stay safe. Come see us when you are in our part of the world!! Vic and Mary
Small is best Unbelievable to sail on a cruise ship with over 6,000 passengers. I don’t want to go on one with 2600. Regent has spoiled me. I enjoyed the western Caribbean with you both.
Rum and Cigars Did you smoke and drink some of the famous rum and smokes? Loved the cars. They never looked that good new in the U.S. Enjoying your adventures.
Just returned from Cuba a week ago.We were on the Pearl Mist (Pearl Seas Cruises) for 12 days & stopped at 5 ports. We started Fort Lauderdale to Cienfuegas & ended with Havana.I liked your commennt comment..a mystery...as I have not yet been able to describe how I reacted to the country.Much to think about. Best Wishes for the New Year, Carol
