I loved te prose description of your visit to Zurich. So nice you had some young people to hang with. But the pictures are all black! Idon't know why they didn't come through but they didn't. Very disappointing! Oh well, I'll see them whenyou get home, I guess. Love you so much. and miss your sweet face.

Ancient history
Again, to see something so ancient that you have read about - awe inspiring! Thank you for all the pictures - I feel like I was there for a brief spell. And to think the volcano is still active. How terrifying it must have been for the people when it erupted and rained down rocks and lava. I'm sure many thought it was "god's wrath"! Just like some people today think 9/11 and Hurrican Katrina were caused by an angry god. Not so different.

Naples and Italian men
Iguess it's true that all Italian men think they are irrisistable and that every woman wants to have sex with them... surprise! But apparently they take no quite well. Smart Kerissa - just keep repeating no. Soyou got to actually see Pompei and Capri. Pompei is such a story book site and Capri is supposed to be lovely. What did you think of them. Oh, my goodness, how beautiful Sperlonga and Rome, etc. are. I love Wendy's - your room was beautiful. Loved the gay guuys and their helpfulness. Glad you didn't try to walk tothebeach. I laughed so hard picturing it all... good job of sharing your adventures! And everyone is so helpful. Of course the post office (or any governmntal department) is a disaster. Part of the story I guess. I'll email you tomorrow. I love you.

Milano is wonderful. The canals look like what I've read about in Naples or Venice. Lots of water around there. Loved the pictures in your next entry - the Spanish Steps - why are they called that? Quite a mob sceme but so fun looking. I'm so happy to hear from you again!

Rome hostels
I'm so glad you met some young people to party with. That's what I've read about the hostels - not fancy but you meet a lot of young adventurers! Rome looks beautiful - wish I could be there! I'm going to read the previous blogs now. It's been really warm here.

Such fun
Hi my sweet baby girl Such fun it is so good to see where talking about on the phone the other day. I can now put faces in those spots. Italy sounds great it is some place I would like to go. I still miss you terribly but seeing you and reading this is really wonderful. Dad said you made it to the B and B so cant wait to see those pictures and the ones from Rome. I am doing good just had my hair cut so feel better!!!Its alittle bit shorter than I wanted but .... it will grow back. Lots of love Mom

I am laughing my way all through your blogs beautiful..and have to thank you for taking the time to write them. Wow! You are getting so much more relaxed about just floating your way across Europe..yeah! Viviana is from Milano. Her brother is a lawyer there. Last name is Sormani. Glad you're finding handsome men to hang with..those Italians are so gorgeous and LOVING THE GIRLS! As they should..especially a beautiful blonde such as yourself. I love the photos and stories. Sounds like polo is being good to you as it was to me. Give Caroline a hug when you see her and enjoy your trip. Keep the blogs coming..you make my nights! I love you more than all that fresh bread and olive oil and basil I'll bet..Viviana always tells me the Italian food here is shit. What a beautiful place. And how glorious to walk the streets of such a famous town. Loved the observation on the yacht owners - aren't they funny? The very rich are different and, I think, pretty weird. I'm glad you get to try the best food items - or at least the best in someone's opinion. You look wonderful as doCaro and Virginie. Rochelle is a great addition to the group of lovely ladies. Wish I could be there, but I almost feel like I am. I love you.

First - love the pool. Looks like a lap pool - Kim's dream- just swim laps forever! I love Port Grimaud. I see why you would want to spend more time there. Wonder how the buildings last with the water so close? Yor friend Jeanne is attractive and sounds like fun. And now, on to Italy. More friends to make and places to see and food to try. Go to the little Trattoria's in Italy - they are kind of like our coffee shops I understand. More reasonable and owner run, etc. I'm going to check to see if I missed any blog entries while Brooks was here. I swear, summer is my busiest time. Did your mom tell you about Brooks' car. New but no amenities - stick shift, manual windows, etc. I guess it has a radio and hopefully air conditioning! Have a great time in Italy. I love you.

You look wonderful - the hard work doesn' t seem to dim your smile. How beautiful the Mediterrean is and how exciting to actually swim in it! Sounds like American food at the fair with a little French flair. I'm going to make my mushroom and barley soup this morning. Have mushrooms and want some good soup. Beach Bunnies!
Oh my Goodness, I loved this blog. I read it with your mom and we laughed and it made us feel like you were there on the beach with us. I can picture Caro and Virginie not even knowing the places you do. You are a seeker though and believe me, as you know, working with the horses is all consuming. Not much energy left to explore. That's how it was for me traveling all those years. If there was a tournament, I didn't get much chance to just hang which I am so glad you are doing. Brooks is here for another week. Hi honey I am at kims and thought we wouldsay hello so hello We are having fun with Brooks and Kim It rainede here yesterday that was rather fun went for a swim in the rain Brooks was scared very funny got to love him Had a nice dinner at the Clifhouse and then took a walk (humid) Brooks and Kayla and I stayed up and talked very interesting but as Kayla said scary !!!!!
