Songkram - thai new year Today we ventured into a war zone. Khao San was awash with people and drenching each other was the name of the game. we made a bee line for the nearest water gun vendor but were soaked through before we had time to barter for a pistol. We arrived safely, found our way by bus to the Khao San Road. Every where you go people are trying to rip you off. Getting very good at saying 'NAI', thai for no or bugger off! We have already visted lots of temples and several Buddhas! To keep costs low we have been eating the street food, not bad especially when a meal for 2 is 60p!!
