Merry Christmas Everyone!! It's the time of year that should be spent with family and friends... however this year I am missing the family part which is very hard for me since we are such a close family! Christmas in Korea is just not the same as at home. I am making the best of it however and enjoying time spent with great friends. Christmas eve was spent skiing at Muju which was amazing! So... week 9 and 10 were kind of eventful! week 9 we headed to the Kimchi festival. Kimchi is a huge part of Korean culture.. They eat Kimchi at every meal... Fomented cabbage which is super spicy.. not a fan but I decided I might as well try it while in Korea. Friends came down from another city in Korea and we all went out to party that night. Hi everyone... so we are on week 8... Nothing happened week 7... so we skipped that! This week was great! We took the children to the park which was a lot of fun, they ran around and went through mazes. This is the same park that we started doing our aerobics with 50 Korean women every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Its so much fun we are really taking in the whole Korean culture! Hello!! Week 5 already done! I have finally gotten into the swing of things and have settled in quite nicely! This week started off really well with my children beginning to form sentences and speaking English to me instead of Korean... My 4 and 5 year olds will now ask to go to the bathroom in English instead of me guessing what they are trying to tell me. Hey everyone... So here it is I've offically been in South Korea a month! Time does fly... this week has been busy at school... the kids are getting better but still very frustrating at times... Three of us went to the baseball game on Saturday The Kia Tigers! Very different experience then Canadian baseball games it was awesome everyone was singing and cheering and there were tons and tons of other foreigners we met a bunch of them and all went out after the game! 안녕하세요 - Hello! There is not much to say this week I've had a rather relaxing week. I hiked up to the top of the mountain that is behind my place last night with Andy and took some pictures of the city. They didn't turn out as well as we had hoped we were really high up it takes about and hour and a bit to get to the top if your walking fast and it's very very steep!
