Budapest Hello,
I hope you really had a great time in Budapest, and you will come back to this beautiful city soon (summer is the best time for a vacation ;)).
Best wishes,
zsobig
It's a pitty you never managed to visit the rest of Scotland. Each city is different in its own way but head North of there up the west coast and you will see the most amazing landscapes.
Hey!!
I'm so glad that you're surviving your crazy european adventure :)
I have all the books in that series you were talking about so you can borrow them when you come home! There's also another series after that one with the same characters!
Did you find yourself in the picture? We will pray that you will make it home safely so, you can recap all your adventures. I'm waiting for a slide show on pps....ha, ha!
You've had this wonderful Bloggy tool, I wish I had when I was travelling which saves on re-telling a thousand times. Now when you show the pics (on power point)
most will know what your on about! Love the dog poop statue....most amusing.
Never mind just Europe.... ...flights weren't leaving from here either! Loads of people stuck everywhere. I can't imagine the chaos there though. Just when you thought things were getting better. I have been thinking about you ever since this happened. I think your best bet now would be to head up to Iceland by ferry from the Northern Scottish isles! ha, ha!....if you only had more time!!! I feel so sorry for your bad timing, just try to get in as much as you can. Good Luck on getting back. You will, and you prrobably have already!
what about Swedish berries... we'll just call them...."country small town craziness" berries!!! Well, it's too bad that you have to go through all that, but remember your not alone! I have had similar instances on my travels. It just wants to make you scream doesn't it?!?...but then you will seem like the lady wearing the crazy horns!!! There's always tomorrow if you make it out of those God forsaken places.
My favourite blog This is by far my favourite blog of yours! I really laughed at the "who let the dogs out" and the fact of your fringe benefits of being "Kanadanska- ingleki" or whatever. That totally reminds me of my grandparents as the language is similar. It's these travel memories that I think are the everlasting ones and the true great experiences as you are not only experiencing the regular parts of travel but seeing the way the people really live there....which is nice. I'm sure you'll be talked about for years now as the "kanadanska-ingleki" girl. Anyway, I wish you more experiences like these ones! K See you soon!
Feeling good - and strange candles Do those candles have super heros on them. Very funny.
I'm so glad you are feeling better and can continue to enjoy your travels.
Hey now who is calling me crazy?!!? And Bears don't hurt anyone... unless provoked, hungry, angry, etc. And the only thing you have to worry about is being faster than everybody else!
Stockholm blah Ok, I read the next entry first thinking what a bad day that was, but it actually started on this day in Stockholm. You better just keep movin on.
Oh My GOSH I thought I would take a break and was excited to see a new blog when opening my email. What a horrible day that was for you. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a much better and delightful one. Keep smiling.. your bright eyed smile
Katie,
I've been following your blog from time to time. Your entries are great! So glad to hear that you're having such a good time. The story about the Vjera was great ;).
Strangers then Friends I just love the whole experience you had and would love to visit Montenegro. I see that my warnings of taking candy or a ride from strangers has turned out to be untrue but when you were my little younger Katie these instructions were necessary. Now you have good instincts about the nature of people and knowing who to trust is a good thing as you have met so many wonderful people -Vierra and Radovan amongst them.
