Must be bloody confusing for the map-makers! Also loved the 'artful dodger.' We've seen a few of those in our time. He should go far! John & Des |

| 8th June 2008 Lizi | Steps/Gold/Video - From: The Inca Trail and Machu Picchu This looks fantastic - Kate I am feeling your pain with coming down the steps. Steveo - I'll stump up the money for you to find the gold - you've got 2 years - it'll be like winning the lottery - 50/50 yeah? Not impressed with the video - saw your face but got no hello and where was Kate? Try harder next time. |

| 5th June 2008 John Hayward | The poor little critter! - From: Cuzco That poor little guinea pig! It was bad enough being killed and served up on a plate, but then to have a tomatoe hat put on your head and a carrot stuck in your mouth - what a way to go! By the way, the rafting looks sensational, but if you two were in the raft, who took the pictures? Great blog, great trip! John H. |

Loving the black and white function Kate! |
| 23rd May 2008 Michael | - From: Dominical and Cabinos de Pacific Edge view certainly beats looking out my office window at the M5. good how all these hostels have got swimming pools. picture of steve with the fry up is cracking me up. might as well have been taken at hatherley/church road. steve growing his hair a bit long too? |
| 23rd May 2008 Michael | - From: Uvita and Ballena National Park Drives looks like a bit of a dude. PG tips and scrabble. that's my idea of fun. good initiative to buy up some proper tea bags. |
| 19th May 2008 Lizi | That bloody frog - From: Jaco / Playa Hermosa I don't blame you Kate - I was mowing the lawn at the weekend and had to stop because a bloody frog was scaring the hell out of me (admittedly I did think it was a rat to start with because I couldn't see it). All slimey things should be made extinct including slugs and snails. Loving the blog - keep them coming! Hope you're both well and that Steveo is managing to wash (cos he sure as hell ain't managing to shave). xx |
| 18th May 2008 Kate and Steve | To JRG - From: Jaco / Playa Hermosa Yo, Hermosa is great and i would defo recommend it, it gets bloody hot though and the black sand really absorbs the heat so sunbathing on the beach in the middle of the day is out - its hard enough to walk on. There is the pool however... The other drawback is that there is not much to do in Hermosa but they can organise trips and Jaco is close. The surf is amazing though. Also, we have also just managed to top Hermosa and we both agree it is the best place we have ever stayed. Will hopefully update the old blog soon so you can see. Love to Ami and the little Gerrish Steve and Kate |
| 16th May 2008 JRG | yo - From: Jaco / Playa Hermosa this place looks great - think this might be where we go on our trailfinders (dependant on if you find anywhere nicer for us). all good here - the bump is massive - 202 days gone, 78 to go! all the breast. |
| 15th May 2008 Michael | - From: Jaco / Playa Hermosa can't believe you didn't get a cheeky photo of the naked hippie. shame on you. like the photos of the sunset. looks well nice. keep up the good blogging, we're all interested to see what you guys are up to. assume you've checked on the net, but in case you haven't, the city boys have reached the play off final. |
| 13th May 2008 John & Des | That frog! - From: Jaco / Playa Hermosa That frog has a wicked grin. Saw Kate coming we reckon! No chance of that one turning into a prince! Keep up the wonderful camera-work. Can't wait to enjoy the next installment. Do frogs have a head for heights? We're thinking Inca Trail here! John and Des H. |
