Hey guys Sorry I have been a bit slack on the ole travel journal...just been sooo busy!! Well we arrived safe and sound in Oz....although a icle bit cold compared to scorching hot Thailand! We had already organised a house to stay in on Bondi so headed straight there. It was a 6 bedroom house about a 10 minute walk from Bondi Beach. Stayed with loads of cool people....3 from Canada, 2 from Sweden and 3 from England (including 2 from Slough!!). Spent 2 weeks in the house at Bondi, went into Sydney for a couple of days. Saw the Opera House and Harbour Bridge....sorry to disappoint but decided against the bridge walk...do u seriously know high that thing is!! Debs arrived safe and well in Bangkok. Met up with her and showed her the sights of Koh San Road. Took her out for a nite on the town….Gullivers of course!!! We then got on the overnight train to Chaing Mai. Stayed in a little guesthouse ran by what we think was a ladyboy!!! Headed straight to a hotel pool so that Debs could soak up some of the sun and try to catch up with us!! The girls booked to go on a 3 day trek I decided that I definitely couldn’t handle 3 days of rice and sleeping on the floor so I got on a 3 hour bus ride to a place called Nan. Hey Guys Hope your all well. I'm gonna try and upload some photos - hopefully it will work! We are now back in Bangkok - just me and Nat, although Debs arrives tomorrow so we shouldn't get too bored of each other! My last update was when I was in Koh Samet. Since then we have been to Koh Samuui and Koh Pha Ngan. We flew from Pattaya into Koh Samui which was a stop over before we travelled onto Koh Pha Ngan. Nat was still in Koh Chang so it was just me and Kate. The beaches weren't as nice there so we decided to hire a motorbike for the day. Hi Guys Thought I would drag myself away from the beach to give you a quick update. Spent two great nites in a place call Pattaya. Its a mix between Soho and Southend! There was 5 of us girls and 2 lads and we all went to a ladies strip club - the Thai strippers loved us so much they had us up pole dancing with them!! From there we went onto a gay cabaret show - it was the most funniest thing I've ever seen - from Tina Turner to Tarzan shaking his bits in Kates face!! Helloooo Everyone!!! Just to let you know that me and Norris arrived here safely. The journey was a bit of a knightmare. Not only was I sick on takeoff but we also had turbulence!! I don't think the steward was very happy when I handed over a bag of puke!!! Bangkok is excellent - really really hot. The taxi ride to our hotel was quite an experience - they don't seem to understand the reason for having white lines of the road and just sway back and forth within inches of each other!!! The hotel we stayed at last nite was really cool. Had great fun getting across the roads - they have crossings but no-one stops so u just have to leg it across!! My travels start on the 28th Jan. I'm really excited and can't wait to have something more interesting to write!!! I reckon my 1st journal will be on the 29th Jan - thats if I can find an internet cafe and don't get run over trying to cross the roads in Bangkok.
