last blogg Great to hear about your dives katherine. You describe the scene really well and they always sound interesting and exciting.
Glad you decided to do the nitrox course as although expensive, who knows where you will have the time to do it again.Hope you are having similar sucess with with your visa application.

Well Done. Congratulations Katherine, well done on getting your Divemaster quali. Your bad diver sounds tough going and surprised he cant be penalised for consistent bad diving, giving he wont learn and is destroying coral along the way. Maybe no-one has actually told him what he is doing and as a thoughtful diver he should respect the environment. Hope you have a better week to come and get to dive with some good people and enjoy it. Think you seeing your dad soon, so that should be v.nice for you all. take care. love Revelyne
good to hear your news Katherine
Lovely to hear from you and in rainy old England your days seem so exciting.
I agree with you about the visa and best of luck about trying to get one yourself but only you can be sure how important the nitrox course and associated expense is.It would be a shame if in later years the opportunity does not come up again and your regretted it.
(ask your dad for a sub but don't tell himm i suggested it ;-)
In contrast I have taken the kids camping with a friend of mine.It poured torrential rain all weekend, the campus stove stopped working and i put petrol instead of desiel in the car (well it was friday the 13th)Still had a fun time as was with a close friend and we wewe able to dry out in the car at night with the heater running a few glasses of wine.A far cry from Bali.
Thank you again for including me in you blogg and look after yourself.(not sorry you are no longer riding moped!

Hi Thanks for the update. You sound a little low, but hope that you pick up soon. Can understand your frustrations re finances ! but you seem to be doing extremely well with your budget and what can I say about 100 dives! That's quite an achievement so congratulations. Just take care not to overdo it and make yourself ill through exhaustion. Im sure you will be greatly uplifted when dad arrives very soon. How amazing to be rendevousing with family, brother first, then dad, in BALI .. doubt anyone else can say that. I meet my family in Beaconsfield !! Nothing much changing here, no work, but still trying. Had a 36hrs in Brecon beacons.. which youve probably stomped all over.. but just to visit a red kite centre and taking photos of them and the scenery in the hills and of course, chance to drive the Porsche on roads with not a pothole or speed bump anywhere.. joy. Simple things.. but make such a difference to the pleasure of driving my car. Wish you joy and safe times as you continue your diving there. Sending you lots of love.

well i continue to be educated and entertained by your wonderful blog.
What a fantastic experience although like any mum will not harp on about wearing the correct protective clothing when on a moped!
thank you again for including me.

loveley to hear from you Katherine
Thank you so much for sight of the wonderful photos and details of your trip so far.
I am thoroughly enjoying them and have finally decided(this was a promise i made for my 40th birthday but failed to act on) to enrole on a diving course. My aunt is still diving to 30 metres and she is in her seventies!
The other promise(learning to ride a motorbike) will have to wait.
Glad you are also finding time for some fun.Take care.
lots of love

Adventurer Hi Katherine,
Just caught up with all your travelogs since you arrived. Sounds somewhat primitive but you seem to be taking it all in your stride and accept the basic accomm. I guess your dad is going to be visiting then? Dont envy you the chilli learning curve youve been on.. i dont like them even remotely and your experience sounds a killer one. Glad you are so adept at fitting in with the environs and always gadding about busy doing something or another. You quite tire me out just reading about it all. You dont have to convince me about beaches.. and i can visualise yours quite readily.
Keep well.. and safe.. and enjoy every day with the diving. Very proud of your achievements and adventurous spirit. You and Richard quite the happy wanderers ! Lots of love. R
