| 10th July 2008 Karnen | Hi! - From: Day 7 - Salt Lake City, UT to Lake Mead, NV Stacey, Thanks for your note. Yes, everyone is doing great at their assigned duties. David and Bill are driving, David loggin more at this point. He's chief driver, trash emptier, window washer, cabinet organizer and keeper of the humor. We all hove our roles. Miss you much. | 10th July 2008 Karnen | So you are having fun - From: Day 7 - Salt Lake City, UT to Lake Mead, NV John, Yep we have been having fun. This has been a terrific experience. All the problems we have encountered haven't spoiled the fun for us. We've been flexible and made the best of every situation. God has gudied and protected us on this trip. He'll see us home. See you Sunday. Karen |
| 10th July 2008 Karnen | Breathtaking - From: Day 5 - Yellowstone National Park Thanks Colleen for your note. I'm glad you're enjoying to blog. I have really enjoyed doing it. Internet access has been an issue even with the Sprint card. Some states just don't have much coverage. Hard to imagine until you get out in the -still wide open - west. I hope you get to see some of this someday. I'll need you advice. We'd like to plan a trip to Canada some time. See you Monday. Karen |
| 10th July 2008 Karnen | Simply Amazing - From: Day 12 - Rapid City SD to Sioux Falls SD Thanks Don for the note. I hope you get a chance to see some of these things some day. We are looking forward to coming home. See you Sunday. Karen |
| 10th July 2008 Karnen | Awesome - From: Day 9 - Grand Canyon National Park, AZ Jackie, Thanks for the note. The train was a lot of fun and the National Park Service appreciates people using it and NOT taking their cars up to the village. Parking can be an issue apparently and it certainly saves on gas. You pay the railroad the park admission fee so they still get their money. David does like to sing and sings very well. I've been trying for years to get him to join but no luck. We're headed east now and looking foward to being home again. See you Sunday! Karen |
| 10th July 2008 Don S | Simply amazing! - From: Day 12 - Rapid City SD to Sioux Falls SD My mind cannot fathom the amount of skill and work it took to create those sculpted masterpieces! Thank you very much for sharing these with us! |
