Well we were so exciting about to Iguazu that we actually hopped on a plane and flew there. When we got to Puerto Iguazu as I recall we basically dumped our stuff at some hostel and ran there as fast as our legs could carry us... and then hustled onto the little train thing unfortunately the train only goes about 5mph so the hustled was put on pause for a while hotstepped through the myriad o

So Salta was just a stop off really to reak up the incredibly long journey to BA to met Sara. Sofia went all the way through in one go. About 30 hours i think. Hard to the core. But as I was in no real rush I had me a break. The main goal of the stop off was to not do anything that Sara might want to do when we got back here later. Unfortnately I failed in that mission thanks to stumblng on the M

For many reasons. But none more important than the stupid photos it allows you to take. The salt flat as you may imagine are white and flat. It looks like snow. But slightly less cold. And i do mean slightly as it was bloody cold up there. Firs

Hola from Bolivia First impressions of Bolivia garnered from the border crossing experience were positive. From the immigration officer who joked with me about my gender when i messed up the form instead of looking at me with disdain as every other immigration officer does to the yellow church right on the borderline packed with people seemingly singing The Sounds of Silenceby Simon and

Or not as the case may be... depending on your own level of bravery I suppose. After spending yesterday morning in a jetlagged daze and yesterday afternoon chatting to old Peruvian on a bench at the seafront true story Silvia. She was lovely... we exchanged email addresses but I cant read her old lady handwriting I thougt that today I better get out and about in Lima. I got up bright and

Where as the heading implies I39m having a nice lie down. Bloody knackered... And fair enough too I think I39ve done a lot of international travel this week. After being reminded of the concept by Mrs Clarke I thought that perhaps a blog would be a good idea to keep all

Our next trip was an overnighter in sapa which as it turns out is a phenominally beautiful place up in the hills of Northern Vietnam. It started well... despite the negative reports from travellers about the night train up there it seems they've ust had the cushiest holiday ever as to us the beds on the rains were nothing short of luxury and we had the best nights sleep we'd had in ages Swee
