Boston Day Trip! Couldn't think of a better excuse to go spend the day in Boston, A URI Road Game Against Boston College!!! The game started at 645pm so we figured, why not head to Boston early. Doug and I both had a really great Thanksgiving break! We both visited with our families, even though mine ditched me for Texas, but met up in the evening to play games with Karen and Jonathan. All four of us got up bright and early and took the train from Milford into NYC. First, Karen and Jonathon took us to Bryant Park to walk around for the start of Jonathans food tour! Providence Basketball Weekend!! Nov 14-15th So, as many of you know, Doug really enjoys college basketball. He has seasons tickets to URI, Holycross, and Providence College. Well, this weekend was a tournament at Providence College. We missed the first game on Friday night, because we were watching Holycross and Harvard. This weekend while I had a packed weekend of soccer and moving stuff into my apartment, Doug and his friend headed up to Buffalo for a few days to see the Bills lose to the Texans 31-10. They managed to fit in a brief trip to Niagara Falls before the game. The hotel they stayed at The Adams Mark, was the same hotel a co-work and I had stayed at a few years ago when we went to visit some colleges in that area.
