When our camping plans fell through Jeremy and I decided to just drive st http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Montana/blog-423934.html Journey to the MiddleEast This is a solo trip...it's my deployment to the desert. Jeremy went the same time as I did but to a different location. I left on Jan 13 2006 and got back May 16 2006...roughly 4 months. My deployment location was a base in Qatar called Al Udeid. We left from Hill UT and had to go to Nellis AFB in Vegas to catch our plane. It's just a normal plane with flight attendants and everything b http://www.travelblog.org/Middle-East/Qatar/blog-416545.html Savannah on the 4th for our 5th This year marked the fifth anniversary of our marriage and since Jeremy was stuck in Georgia I decided to take a trip down there to see him. We decided that Savannah would be a better place to spend the weekend than Brunswick so after I flew into Brunswick we made the hour drive up to Savannah. We decided on our first night there to go do a ghost tour. For those who don't know Savannah has http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Georgia/Savannah/blog-416212.html Biloxi...round 2 Well since I showed you the pictures of Biloxi in one of her worst moments I though it only fair that I show her thriving also These pictures are from my trip back to Biloxi in August 2007. I was only there for 2 weeks this time but that was enough time to enjoy the city. The change was astonishing Some things were still being repaired but this time there was at least something to do Th http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Mississippi/Biloxi/blog-412872.html What happens in Vegas... Ah...Vegas I love Vegas The energy the glitz the lights...I love it all I've been to Vegas numerous times as has Jeremy but this was our first trip together. We flew down from Utah for a long weekend and stayed in the New York New York hotel....and I DID ride the coaster A couple of times actually. I'd never been on a big coaster motion sickness and since that one is about 10 s http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Nevada/Las-Vegas/blog-412662.html Hello Biloxi In August of 2006 I changed career fields and had to go to Biloxi Mississippi for my Tech School. We were stationed in Utah at the time. It was a 4 week school so I decided to drive. I crossed 7 states each way and a lot of them were new to me so I was pretty excited. It had only been a year since Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast. I don't know what I was expecting...I guess I figured tha http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Mississippi/Biloxi/blog-412306.html Two weeks 7 states 7 National Parks For our 2006 vacation Jeremy and I decided to go on another road trip. This time we headed west rather than east and we took my 2 nephews Tyler and Brady with us. It was a very busy trip with lots of time in the truck I had everything planned to a T so naturally there was no room for side excursions. It was a lot of fun though We started out in Utah...well we started by going to Mont http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/blog-411600.html Tetons Yellowstone Rockies...oh my For our vacation in 2005 Jeremy and I decided on a road trip. Our trip was about 12 days long but we tried to cram as much into it as possible...as we always do To start off there are alot of pictures in this blog as I had eight rolls of film from this trip Although I didn't put all the pictures on here there are still quite a few. I'm not going to go into too much detail in the blog por http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/blog-395270.html Key West A couple of months before I met Jeremy I was selected to go on a 2week TDY to Key West Florida. I didn't want to go. My suprevisor wanted to put my name in for it since I had never been on a TDY but I'm not a water girl so the thought of spending 2 weeks on an island was not an enticing idea to me. In my career feild there would be TDY's quite often but there were bad TDY's like Vegas a http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Florida/Keys/blog-384762.html It's a bird it's a plane...yep it's a plane Luke had it's semiannual air show here this last weekend and I was thinking about going but didn't. My sister said she would have been interested in seeing the pictures but I have plenty of pictures of airplanes. Some were taken at Lackland AFB TX when I was in basic training some at Sheppard AFB TX when I was in tech school and some were from an airshow I attended when I was stationed he http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/blog-384121.html Yabbadabbadoo In October of '03 Jeremy and I were still stationed in Arizona. He was getting ready to leave for tech school and then a change of station. We decided to go away for a weekend before we had to part. We went up north and stayed one night in Flagstaff. We went up to the Grand Canyon my 3rd time there and headed down to Sedona for the second night. We stumbled across the town of Bedrock comin http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Arizona/blog-384103.html Jeremy's first trip to Montana Our first trip together ended up being Jeremy's first trip to Montana. We both had 2 weeks of leave planned to go to our respective hometowns. Jeremy decided to cut his visit home by a week and fly to Montana to spend a week with me. I took him to see everything that trip....and I mean EVERYTHING We started off in Butte so he could meet my mom and sisters. Then we took the scenic route up to http://www.travelblog.org/North-America/United-States/Montana/blog-382357.html
