2nd December 2008 connie	- From: Loy Krathong kevin- it is a special thing, in my opinion, to be a part of growing food there. plowing the rice paddies? i just "looked" at them. the depth of experience being that intimate with the land, farmers... it is quite different from traveling around getting drunk and floating from bar to bar. hey, i know that is on the itinerary too! just saying, way to go on connecting with something behind the veil.
