I was lucky enough to go to the largest Buddhist temple in China. One of the owners of my school, Mr. Lou, brought us there on a very hot Saturday morning. It was beautiful! We hiked up the mountain and through the botanical garden on an old windy path and when at the top there is a lake and a series of very large temples. I didn't take and pictures of the Buddha statues because that would be considered disrespectful. But they are huge. Probably 50-60 feet tall and decorated in a traditional Chinese style.
