| 12th May 2009 Debbie Hobbs | sobering - From: Tag Drei- Dachau Concentration Camp Kelley, when Dennis and I went through Ann Frank's house and the WWII memorial in Paris we were taken aback by how quiet and deep in thought most people were. Was it like that at Dachau? The air in both places had a sobering element to it like the weight of the atrocities done still hung in the air. Good thing you lifted your spirits with some yummy, great looking dessert! |

| 7th May 2009 UNDERWAY | Castles in the Alps - From: Tag Zwei. Hi Kelley, Enjoy'd the pic of your castle, What a great view. Beautiful arcitecture. If you get to Thailand, you will see more beautiful buildings. Not castles but shrines with great beauty and colors and simitry (sp) Skoosh is the company I told you about. They are great at finding accomidations in all countries for a good price. We found that it was much cheeper to use them via the internet than actually bartering a price at the accomidation. Leavenworth is warming up and summer is close.... We are heading to Alaska on a cruise next Wed. Will be gone untill June.... Will contact you when we get back.... Travel safe, Jim & Ann |
