Looking forward to following n your footsteps! Coming to Vietnam in Jan with 3 kids, enjoyed reading your blog - thanks for advice on phone as my son is keen to keep in touch with his friends. Lots of people have recommended Angkor Wat but on the net it is saying it is a v serious malaria risk. We are going to take malaria tablets but I wasn't sure if it would be suitable for the kids - any ideas?!
Enjoyed reading about your travels - thanks
Very cute pair You two are gorgeous. I'm looking at taking my husband and 3 offspring to 'Nam and Siem Reap, and I just love the way that 'Mark' is seemingly having an absolute ball. What a great couple you are. Hope it's nice over there.
footie Don't you dare paint my house. Anyway, football is the common mans game! Glad the PA had a good time in the big apple. How was sitting next to Graham for 7 hours? As bad as you thought!
Boxing Day already!! You shouldn't be wishing your time away with the dates!!! Back from New York, had a lush time. Have 2 interviews in the next week so may be employed for Feb...wish me luck! You are missing a fab footie season (just thought you may like to know ;). May paint your house red and white as a welcome home prezzie!
wurst hello asian pair
it sounds like you are back on track after the beach expreience, poor lambs, it sounds like a nightmare. funny enough we are in the town of Agadez in the beautiful Sahara and there are some germans in our hotel, they too seem very rude and cant even bother to speak a little french, one rolled up in the 100% Muslim town in hot pants holding a bottle of red wine, and he was a HE! very upsetting for our eyes, especially with all the sand! lots of love Alice and Christof x x
relief! Hiya, had the oral today- nightmare! Just glad it's over now. Keep telling us more about the food- sounds fab, far cry from my 2 month diet of quiche and chicken kiev! Photos look amazing and enjoying the commentary. Hope the new sandles (?!), sandals take good care of the katus feet. Off to Dubai for a week so I'll catch up with ya when I get back. Take it easy, love vani xxx
yum hello to you both
i like the pictures very much especially the one of markus with the sea creatures. your food looks so wonderful, you should feel smug as we just enjoyed our 9879th bowl of rice and grease animal fat, fish sauce. so wonderful to crunch all the bits!
we are sleeping in the mission catholique which is fun! just chilling with the Nuns
lots of love to you, all sounds very interesting and beautiful

Jealousy is such an ugly thing...... But I'm currently embracing it and content with the feeling whilst curled up with cup of tea!! Yes, it's all bloody Christmasy, the buggers are playing carols in Northallerton town centre and it's not even December yet...Grrrrrr...... Would happily swap food with yours at the mo, and am glad that you are doing well with the old sticks - I should have given you my "idiot-proof sticks" as a leaving prezzie! (Mind you saying that they are somewhat user dependent too!!) Missing you loads, will not be the same without a festive Katus with slightly too much mulled vino... Love to you both, Becca xxx
messages hey sandflies, how are you both doing? have you actually stopped eating since you left the uk? everything looks so amazing - the colours, scenery, food. I don't blame you for chilling out on the beach you're there to enjoy not just to see everything possible! missing you - stay safe, love anna x
hello markus and katus, kate what are you doing with those chopsticks? your blog is fab but spare a thought to our other poor little sister who is surviving on cuppa soup while you two feast like kings on all these delicious food items!
missing you heaps at home and keep going to ring you, have to say though, you are being very dedicated to your blog (well mark you are!)
stay safe worms
anna xxxxxxxxx
noodle head it all looks so wonderous! The noodles look like delicious worms and that photo of you looking drunk is outrageous kate, i am so proud!
we too have been enjoying authentic soup in Benin, leek and potato cuppa soup from a lebanese supermarket made with hepatitus water ,heated with our new water-heating tongs purchased from a man for 3 British pounds. such a watery treat!
you both have lovely brown, shining faces and Kate, a good spattering of freckles. love to you both from Al and Christof too x x x x
Yo, dudes! Love the pics! been fab reading the blog as been wondering what you've been up to. Life here seems to pale in comparison but Norway was great ( will stop going on about it soon- promise). How's the honeymoon gonna beat this trip? Missin you loads but the pics help me feel closer... Hope you feel better soon, Kate- watch the chilli on those ulcers- yowch!! Love ya, The Vanster ( feel I need a new nickname)
Around the world in 90 days. Well, not quite as fast as Phileas Fogg but hoping to take things a little easier and soak up the sites! Our trip will take us from Thailand through Vietnam, Sydney, New Zealand, Fiji and back (assuming we want to come back).
