Hello once again everyone. We are alive and well in San Pedro, Costa Rica. This will be a short blog to give a brief update as to what we’ve been doing the past few weeks. It’s windy outside this morning and my computer has lost power once already. Such is life in the campo. First off, we had a very easy trip from California to Costa Rica. This is it! Short entry to update everyone we haven't spoken to this week. Bill's dropping off the cable boxes and expecting me to have the computer packed when he gets home. AHHHhhhhhh, gotta hurry! We're headed to Los Angeles tonight as soon as we finish cleaning the house. The truck is just about packed. We'll ship our belongings tomorrow, at LAX then drive down to San Diego for a little R&R with Scott & Kelly (Bill's son & his other half) before flying out on Monday night. Wish us luck! Whooo Hoooo! Hooray! Yippee! Words cannot describe our excitement! I just got off the phone with American Airlines. Bear, our beloved four legged son is set to fly out with us on Jan 23rd to San Jose, Costa Rica. Now life is good & everything is OK! We’ve been on a daily roller coaster ride waiting for word he’d be able to fly. I’ve dealt with several airlines both in reservations and cargo. We're almost there..... We close on the house a week from today, January 19, 2006. The date was pushed back from the original closing date of the 10th as the buyer’s agent wasn’t able to get his ducks in a row. The inspections and appraisal have all been completed. Now we wait for the title to record and pick up our check on the 19th. If things go without a hitch we’ll head for LA that afternoon or early the following morning to ship our belongings.
