spending a week recuperating on the beaches about 3 hours south of rio before i head there shortly after my exhausting time on the amazon. these are the perfect sort of beaches to relax and the sort of place where you could quite easily sunbathe without any clothes and not see any people all day. Well talk about big cities because I have been to New York, Mexico City, Bangkok, Bogota, Medellin, Miami, Detroit, Atlanta and several in Europe but this place is absolutely huge and it must rank up there with Tokyo because there are an estimated 17 million people in the ´Greater Sao Paulo´ area according to the lonely planet bible which does actually have inforamtion and facts and prices four years old even though I purchased it in Costa Rica early this year.
