first time in argentina and I head for the capital and party..nightlife capital of the country....Buenos Aires. Have to start thinking of staying in hostels at the moment for the last two months of my travels because the funds are running a bit low now after an expensive five weeks touring Brasil to keep the costs down and because I know i need to save money for a couple of other major sight seeing ventures that I want to do in Bolivia & Peru before leaving for home. This city does not have as many sights to see and do [View Full Entry]

dont remember any more words to the barry manilow song but i had a great time in rio, if you can hlp with the words fill me in... I arrive in the metropolis that is Rio for a week of sightseeing in probably the worst week of weather for a long time to hit this city for a few months. It is good to be travelling so light for a couple of weeks since I have left my main rucksack in SAO PAULO with my friends there. Upon arrival, I head for the copacabana which is the place to find [View Full Entry]

the relaxing beaches of the cove that forms this fishermans village, backed by lush green mountains
spending a week recuperating on the beaches about 3 hours south of rio before i head there shortly after my exhausting time on the amazon. these are the perfect sort of beaches to relax and the sort of place where you could quite easily sunbathe without any clothes and not see any people all day. It is also a lot more relaxing than the beaches of Rio because you do not have annoying people coming up to you every five minutes and trying to sell all the usual tacky things. The place has really natural surroundings because there are no [View Full Entry]

Well talk about big cities because I have been to New York, Mexico City, Bangkok, Bogota, Medellin, Miami, Detroit, Atlanta and several in Europe but this place is absolutely huge and it must rank up there with Tokyo because there are an estimated 17 million people in the ´Greater Sao Paulo´ area according to the lonely planet bible which does actually have inforamtion and facts and prices four years old even though I purchased it in Costa Rica early this year. Oh and another thing about those books which I have two of is that it is always recommended to [View Full Entry]
