Desired Exodus

So we meet once again, Theres so much to write and so little time. So how are all of you? Doing well? Enough about you, lets talk about me for awhile. Jerusalem was absolutely amazing. The old city has to be one of the best in the world with the sites and the people, oh the people, it was bizarre to see all the orthodox jews crossing paths with monks and coptic christians meanwhile arabs are shouting prices in the backround. And of course they're there for good reason. We walked the supposed path that jesus took with the cross in [View Full Entry]

Shalom, I know I whine a lot about pricing, largely in the internet form, so to keep with tradition, its expensive and so this might be a little brief. However, we also know I tend to get carried away when story telling, so who really knows where this will go! So, quick thing back in Cappadocia. It snowed! And, if we all remember our scriptures books we will remember the passage, "And the Snow God said, 'wherever 2 or more canadians are gathered, there, snowball fights will be.'" Now, me being the pacifist that I am, I naturally had nothing to [View Full Entry]

Hello my peeps, Its been awhıle sınce my last entry so I'm here to change that. After Istanbul, I made a sharp drop ın latıtude to the cıty of Selcuk to vısıt the nearby ruıns of Ephesus whıch was ıncredıble. I normally don't get a huge kıck out of ruıns but Ephesus was so massıve ıt was hard not to lose yourself ın ıt. Back ın Selcuk, there were posters everywhere for "blue cruıses" whıch are 4 day cruıses that usually go from Fethıye to Demre ( a beautıful area along the [View Full Entry]

So, we meet agaın after only a short perıod of tıme (aren't you proud of me) and yet the storıes ensue. So, gehen wır. When I last left you I was baskıng ın sunlıght, enjoyıng whıte-washed buıldıngs, and the deep blue agaean, so I'll contınue from there. I bought the honey and peanut butter in London and the peanut butter lasted me until Berlin! And the honey is still going!
Hello everyone, apologies for not writing more but I really haven't had the time, which, when traveling, can be used as a valid excuse (read, I'm having a good time). So, a lot has happened since I last wrote, and I don't know how much time I'm going to have, so bear with me and my terrible typing. Budapest was fantastic. I went to gorgeous baths with wrinkly (but supple) skinned old men. At the bath, if you don't wear a bathing suit, they provide you with a...handkerchief, its basically a small hand towel with a string that goes around your [View Full Entry]

Listen to Mozart. So I did. Vienna was nice, but I can't say I was...moved? The buildings were absolutely stunning, Doners (aka Gyros, Kebabs, Felafels) were abound, but I failed to get really excited about it. However, with that being said, on the second day I was there, I was meandering about, clicking away with my camera like a good little japanese tourist (they're everywhere, also Aussies, its really quite incredible, there aren't many Aussies in the world to begin with, but it never fails that when you walk down a street, one must always be prepared to hear some sort [View Full Entry]

My first castle!
The castle in Heidelburg
Gruss Grot everyone, Sorry its been some time since my last entry...I have no excuse except that internet is expensive...lame, I know. So anyways, I last spoke about London, which to recap was absolutely fantastic. I saw the play at the Globe Theater, and the next day was spent with Marcelo (the guy i was staying with) where we toured Chelsea and met up with some of his friends who just so happened to be playing a jazz gig that night! There were 2 bands that played and they both were really cool, as were the people themselves. I felt comfortable [View Full Entry]

Well, I've arrived and safely at that, at my first destination, the infamous starting point of everyones travels, London. The plane trip was ridiculously long, but I had some brilliant revelations that I know you're all dying to hear about: 1) americans are really poor dressers 2) Swedes are dressed impecably well...and thats about all I learned from that flight. Don't worry, I'm bound to learn and in turn, share, some much better things as time progresses. London itself is awesome! I'm staying at a fellow couchsurfers (website were you stay at peoples houses for free) house in Streath [View Full Entry]

With the departure date (a very small 12 days) drawing ever so close I thought I would let you all know that I've noticed an increase in the number of zits visible on my face...what does that mean? Stressed may be a bit harsh so rather, lets say I'm getting excited albeit nervous about departing into the unknown. Thats normal right? Of course it is. Other than that, all's cool my babies.
