I'm heading to Costa Rica with two goals in mind. First, I hope to acquire more Spanish so that I can better communicate with the families of students in the Bilingual program at my elementary school. I'm an elementary school principal in Austin, Texas so I'll have no problem applying on a daily basis what I will learn at Intercultura Language School in Playa Samara, CR. My second goal, and just as important as the first, is to s-l-o-w d-o-w-n and enjoy some of God's amazing handywork while I recover from a particularly brutal school year.
