Well it is 2pm on Saturday. We got out early today because we were tested today. I did pretty good. The language is actually really fun. It is all formula like spanish so there are rules to follow in every situation. Amharic is like a giant puzzle. I have a 45 minute walk down the main road so today I left an hour early so I could play soccer with some of the kids in town. Everyone is super friendly and if you didn't want to, you wouldn't ever have to lift a finger. Some of the other Peace Corps members [View Full Entry]

Well this has been a crazy week. Let's see if I can get you guys up to speed. Tuesday Morning Caught my flight at 6:45am. Got into D.C. This was the first training day, well, only training day. They just talked about specific examples of what we might be facing. I was really surprised to find that there were 40 other Peace Corps Volunteers going just to Ethiopia. Anyway...paperwork...name games... sleep. I was tired. Wednesday We found out we leave for ethiopia tonight? Wow. We went to George Washington University to tell us of a sister program that allows us to [View Full Entry]
