Palmtrees, rice fields, volcanos, chickens and goats, fruit-trees, snake-shaped rivers, and lots of tiny villages mixed in between the smaller towns. I was impossible not to notice the peaceful and positive atmosphere, coming from the more busy cities, but there was also something ... read more

After a short stop I KL, with it's beautiful architecture, I went back to the lovely island of Pangkor. It had taken longer than I expected to re-visit so I was met by many surprised faces.... In Pak Abu's restaurant, the sisters still serves wonderful Malaysian food for the hungry people, while the homework is done by the kids and family and friends meet up in the in the open and warm atmosphere next to the beach on Teluk Nipah. The neighbouring bay, Coral Bay and along the way in to town... The island seen from the seaside/backyard show that it's mainly a island for fishermen... with a cosy feeling seen from the ... read more
