Brann Castle (where Dracula apparently lived)..NO!..just Vlad Tepes came one in a while. Please stop thinking about Romania as the place of Dracula, only because Bram Stoker was a missinformed idiot.Anyhow Brasov is a very nice and confortable place to stay, as good or bad, clean or filthy places are all over the world in all cities.Don't tell me that your home town is clean as a facmaceutical resort.Beside that, now we have a virtual tour of our town, that we are proud of it.Visit http://www.vrbrasov.ro , and you'll get a better idea.Don't disregard the beauty of Brasov, only because you meet a few people that didn't fit your request.
best regards!
Hello! It's your Romanian orphan! I'm back in England and green with envy that you chumps are still travelling! Keep us all updates on how well the Borat impressions are received in Kazakhstan!!! Also from what I remember, you guys appeared to enjoy the "suicidal" taxi ride whilst I was squirming and gripping on the dash board for dear life!
Take care dude, Farquar!
nice one Hi Joel - It's Anthony from the Shoestring here. Hope the trip's still going well - I'm doing a Travelblog thingy as well. Having a great time in Bulgaria - Veliko Turnovo was indeed cool, I'm in Varna now then on to Sofia and Greece
Excellent story about your adventure! Georgia sounds more interesting than I'd imagined. Out of interest, how much does a pint cost in Georgia? And in Azerbaijan for that matter? Perhaps you can keep a statistic of beer prices on your travels!

Its all so wierd!! I'll send you some pics of my time in France - they'll mainly be the ones from the Dicks Tea Bar website cuz im lazy! Good luck on your trek to China - cant wait to hear what else you two get up to! Say hi to Adam for me!! See ya soon chick!! xxx
Yo! Alright boys, sounds like its all going well. Things seem to have gone reasonably smoothly so far, although it sounds like the weather's been a bit mixed. You aren't missing much over here except Newcastle and City doing well(something I never thought I'd say in the same sentence!). Could still be a good season for both our teams Joel! Adam if Arsenal win the champs lge, I'll buy you five pints next time I see you (you know I always honour bets). Keep the updates coming, its interesting stuff! Budapest sounded quality. Glad its all going well.
P.S Where are you boys going to be in September?
ooooo how much drinking can you do Well Mr Stern your beer tour of the world is obviously going down very well glad you are enjoying your self when do you plan to hit kiwi land?
Spelling!!! Hi Joel!
Thanks for copying us in on your travel blog, which we are following with great interest. We enjoy the descriptions of your trips, including the trials and tribulations, but feel you need to edit the spelling more carefully - e.g. you go "wondering" when you mean "wandering" and the tramp at Szolnock station "wreaked"... when you actually meant "reeked", "excersize" instead of "exercise" . "greatful" instead of "grateful" - to name a few...... If you ever want to publish the entire text I'll be happy to proof-read and edit for you! By the way - where did you spend the Seder night?
Shalom and all the best,
Pamela
a picture to a name last night, i got the chance to see some pictures of a few of the places in prague you mentioned of in your blog. i saw the clock. um, i saw the tombstones........
Emily's mom went to visit her a few weeks back, and came home with some pictures.
timing of the pics and your blog are perfect.
