Interesting blog - From: Travelling Thailand: Pai to Phuket
First of all, nice work getting into the Singapore Slings! When we were in Singapore we chickened out when we heard exactly what was in them! LOL Once again a great blog. Makes me homesick for Asia (even though I'm in Europe right now...go figure!).

Thanks Joel, I will miss the blogs -especially your entertaining writing. I fear, such are the paradoxes of life, that I will be less in contact with your life now you are a suburb or two away that I was when you were on the other side of the world! Hopefully we'll catch up again soon.

You promised to come back! - From: "Don't believe him, he lies like a carpet!!!"
When you walked past my carpet shop (the BEST carpets in all of Istanbul!!), I asked you to come in, and you told me "Maybe later". So you promised you'd come back!! Why didn't you?!! I waited for hours, I made apple tea for you, I turned other customers away, I laid the carpets out nicely... Never trust a carpet-buyer. =(

I believe my friend alcohol answers most of your questions... - From: Salamanders in Slovenia
1) I was having so much fun handing out coats with catch phrases like "Have a good night!" and "See you next time!" 2) I think she thought I might take over her job and she would be unemployed... 3) I'm having so much fun! I have found my calling in life! :P Hope those are satisfying enough answers for you mate. Otherwise too bad...

More photo comments - From: Salamanders in Slovenia
More bizarre than the useless pic of the swan is that other photo of the cloak room girl. Numerous intriguing questions spring to mind 1) Why did you stay when the others left, I hope it wasn't for her. 2) She looks downright hostile, I got a little scared looking at her 3) Why the big stupid grin on your face. Will we ever get a straight answer, I doubt it very much.
