See you soon! Hi guys, sounds like you're having a great time! Can't wait to see you both just after Christmas, although, Tim and I will be moving to Christchurch-were you planning on making it down to the south island?? Keep up the blogs, they are so much fun to read!
Cheers,
Amanda
borderline crude...more details, please :) Hi guys: Thanks for the wonderful updates. As I look outside at the falling snow, it's kind of nice to see pictures of sandy beaches and blue water. I'd just like to hear more details about the crude Brit!
great pictures!! As always, I love reading up on how things are going with you! It sounds amazing! Some of your pictures a really great shots! Good timing for Joe's heroic dive! haha! Looks like fun!
Quit it! Your life sucks. Come back to Bolton/Husky and remember what fun really is! We really missed you guys at the Xmas party last weekend! Joe was in a whole bunch of the pics in the slideshow that was running through the dinner (sniff). Might have had a few cocktails and closed the place down. Then I went to 371 expecting a big late party, but they boys don't seem as motivated without you and Spicer there to instigate. They all went to bed and I had to hit the couch - very disappointing, though I was glad not to have to drive back to Midland.
Gotta run - take care you two!

Joe,
I am little late in catching up with Australian experiences. I just read through your fascinating Stanthorpe farm stories. It is very nice to hear that you had such a great time there. May be one day I will ask for your expertise for the farm that we are trying to build in India (of course you would get paid for your consultancy services).
I see by this time you have moved from farm to sea beaches. What are are doing there? Can we expect you in the coming episodes of "Baywatch"!
Keep sharing your fantastic experiences.
With best wishes to you and Carolyn. Also my belated congratulation on your getting engaged.

How ya going? I seriously love reading your blog. It brings back so many memories. Glad you guys are doing well. The photos with the gun are BY FAR my favourites so far. Joe -- you look like you were born to target practice.. elbow up, straight legs. In contrast Carolyn went for more of a sports "ready position". Always a good idea! Anyways, things are fairly busy back in SBay. Ben and I are building our house... the walls are up and we're waiting on the roof trusses. I'm also trying to start planning for the wedding (June 2). The weather has been a nightmare... cold and wet. I keep telling Ben that I wasn't born for this climate... living in AU turned me into a sally! Keep up the journals! Love 'em! Take care and stay safe!
Good Joe, this is what I will call good life experience. Looks you two are enjoying every day of it. I feel very happy for both of you.
Contact me when you copme back to town.
Hello to Carolyn.
Alex.
Can't wait! Hey guys, happy to hear that you are enjoying the time there and meeting some fun new people. I can't wait to see you guys early in the new year!
Hmmmm, untitled? Joe, you always were a big pain in the neck, little brother, and now you know it too! We really enjoy this blog back in the land of ice and snow, and live vicariously through it. I did set up a "Bilton Blog" but I don't like the format, and will set one up under this forum instead. Will get some pics on there.
Keep on truckin' you two - and keep all your wheels on the ground Carolyn!
must be ready to get back to your travels wow - sounds like you are still having an amazing time even though you've been working hard! i'm sure your next weeks will be great. joe - you seem to be quite the daredevil...you better stay safe! thanks for the great update and pictures!
Thanks Thanks for the in-depth descriptions (and quantities) of your fabulous scabs and boils. I think I will try eating breakfast later.
Miss you guys!
Bringin back memories Joe????? Back to the pea patch eh? Carolyn, now you can really appreciate some of Joe's childhood....... Glad to hear things are going well in Aussieland. We all miss you guys but reading the blogs really help. I feel like I get to be a fly on the wall...good stuff. Chris and I read them together when he's home and get a good chuckle out of them. Keep them coming....love Bub
Flies, Flies and More Flies Hey C!
Yes, the flies are ridiculous it's true. They must be just starting to make their way over here to the west coast, because they aren't as bad as seen in your pictures yet.... not to worry though, I give it a couple of more weeks (tops!) before they get here. Lucky for you, you'll miss a big chunk of fly season being in NZ. They should be all gone by the time you get back!
Glad to hear all is well... thought of you and Joe when I bought snow peas at Woolie's this weekend!!
Miss you!
Joe and I are in the midst of a year-long adventure to Australia and surrounding area. We've quit our jobs and are enjoying travelling much more than working!
