Our last few days in Venice, we spent exploring the outer islands, including Lido, Murano and the Cemetary Island. Lido was actually surprisingly peaceful and relatively tourist free. We went on Easter Sunday, and walked down to the main church where people were still hanging out, chatting after the service. I guess no matter what faith or where you are, you still stand around and gossip afterwards. After the church we headed down to the beach. Lido is the resort Island of Venice, they have a golf course and horseback riding, they also have cars on Lido which was quite weird to see after being in main Venice where it is just people and boats.
