| 5th October 2008 Christine | best museum ever! - From: Melaka and Singapore Hey guys! That's too bad about the over-pricing of Singapore, I was there for 24 hours on my trip to India 2 years ago (I flew Singapore Air) and I had a blast, and the Museum of Asian Civilizations (that you have the pic of) was one of the best musuems I've ever been to. Did you get to go in? It was actualy included in my stop over package! They incorporate multi-media wonderfully! Also, being in Singapore reminded me very much of Japan..so if you are heading there, be prepared for expensiveness especially in big cities - but go, it's awesome! Happy Belated Second Anniversary! :) |

Regarding the elegant, suave, fluid gymanstic move......1.5 for technical difficulty and 3.0 for completion..........major deductions for view of roll around middle....lol.....what do they put in that beer.Thought maybe you had eaten the tray of bugs...... Sad how you could have such beauty and such horror side by side....no Jodi, I'm not talking about you and Dan.....the beauty and majesty of the temples and the horrors of the Killing Fields. Really appreciate the pictures and am impressed with what you have seen. Sorry Dan, we don't have that brand of "bucket" here. The motto seems like and awseome way yo go and see things. The little guys didn't wonder how Dan could be so hairy but have none on top? | 6th August 2008 Francine | Train and Boat travel Vietnam - From: 12 hours on a moto Hi Jodi and Dan, thanks for your helpful blog in regard to Hue. We intend to go there next year. I am wondering if you can give me a little advice on train travel down the coast? I am hoping you can also give me advice in regard to boat travel in the Mekong Delta area? We are hoping to fly into Bangkok then somehow? [train or boat?] our way to Angkor Wat....Mekong Delta....Can Tho. On reaching Ho Chi Minh we will fly up to Hanoi from then come gradually down the coast via [train or boat?] stoping over at Hue among other places. We will then return to Ho Chi Minh for our flight home to Australia. I will be very grateul for any advice you can give. Thank you in avance, Francine |
