Health and safety!
I think those fine public servants who do such a sterling job back in blighty should come and check out the Harbin ice festival. Walking around a park constructed entirely of ice, including all the staircases, not to mention the -30C temperature should give them something to think about!

Beijing
We must have almost been in Beijing at the same time. We arrived there on 4th April and flew to Xian to see the terracotta warriors and the museums. We then came back to Beijing and did the forbidden palace, the temple of heaven and the great wall at Badaling. On our last day we went on the hutong tour in the rickshaw then to see the birds nest stadium and the water cube and a market before we left for home at about midnight. It was along trip home but we finally made it on Sunday evening and are still catching up. Glad things are going well for you all. Love Christine & David xx

Contact coming
Hi all Jo you may get a comment from a Leah shortly. I have passed on your details to Leah, who is in Shanghai teaching and would love to make contact. Most importantly her Father is a former Royal Marine so you cannot get a better recommendation than that. Hope life is treating you well and clearly must be as the blogging appears to have stopped. Difficulties of an intense social calender I assume! See you in March. Love David

Do you have the address?
I'm with a SCIS Student Council and we're looking to hold an event at this location, is there any chance that you have the address or the contact information for the camp? Thanks so much! -Carlyle Reid

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
Wow! Well, we haven't had a blog for a little while, but this one made up for it. Well done on your Winter Festival, your Dad would have been proud of you for all that organisation! William looks very serious and concentrating hard on his Billy Goat Gruff role, bless him. I can just imagine Sophie and Sarah in Barbie heaven, it looks every little girl's dream. What a wonderful time and what experiences you are having. Will be thinking of you all this week. Loads of love to you all. Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What a great way to spend Easter! I'm actually in Shanghai now and loving it. It's funny because my cousin lives near Zhongshan park. It's really busy on Sundays! I spent Easter in Xian. It was wonderful! Maybe you can try going. The warriors are very impressive. I got my tickets from Springtravel which is located on Ding Xi Lu. A roundtrip flight was about 1100rmb. I LOVE the prices here!

Me again
What a coincidence! What are the chances that we are both from cities named Boston. I have never met anyone with my name before. I'll definitely keep reading if you promise to keep sharing.
