Hi all, Thanks for all your lovely messages, its really good to hear from you all. It feels like we've had an eventful time since last writing. We crossed the Thai border and took the slow boat down the Mekong river for 2 days to Louang prabang, it was a lovely way to travel becasue of the scenery howeverthe overnight stop wasn't great, we arrived in the dark & had to drag our luggage up a rocky steep bank we were desperate to find a bed for the night so unfotunately chose a room which we later realised had cockroaches in. Hi, We are nearing the end of our time in Thailand now but have had a really great time. We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking course, althought I'm not quite sure we'll get the same results when we get home, we'll have a try though. We had a great time on the 2 ay tour we did of north west thailand. We were with a really nice group of people and all got on well. We spent the first day visiting a waterfall and then doing a 4 hour trsk throught the rainforest, I thought it was quite difficult but mark found [View Full Entry]

Hi all, Thanks for the comments which were lovely to read. We enjoyed our 1 night in Bangkok and then went to Khao Yai National Park. We had a brilliant 1 1/2 day tour, the first part we joined with a danish couple who were both zoo keepers- Mark & the guy hit it off straight away with their mutual love of wildlife quickly comparing photos taken and snakes seen (whilst us females sat & rolled our eyes!) Hello everyone, Here is our first entry of our adventure!! Sorry its taken a while. We had a good flight to Siungapore I enjoyed the plane food as usual & Mark enjoyed watching 5 films and not talking to me!!!!! On arrival to a hot & steamy Singapore we soon realised we had over packed our bags, never mind!! It took us awhile to get used to the time difference but we had a good few days including as visit to the zoo which was ace!
