HolaPicking up from where I left off... The Stock Market Bar Bar Dow Jones was awesome Easily my favorite bar of the trip thus far. It was cool watching it go up and down they had a ticker up on the wall with all sorts of beers drinks shots etc. running alone.
So I didn39t think yesterday in itself was enough to write about so I waited until today We toured the Port de Barcelona which handles the majority of European trading and serves to many major cruise ships. We got to take a boat ride around the port. While that sounds exciting that39s the extent of it that I have to write about It was neat to see how much major trading is done and they

Montserrat

Montserrat. A city literally built into the side of a mountain. It was amazing. After about an hour long subway ride we got to the cable cars that took us all the way up the mountain. This was unreal and I was freaking out. You could see the cable car station then were they were heading but you couldn39t see where it ended it just kept going up the mountain. So after freaking out for a bit

This morning we went out to Torres Winery. This is the biggest winery in all of Barcelona. They have a plant here in California and Chile Who would have thought We took the hour bus ride there and first got to watch a video. It was interesti

Well today was the most boring day I have had in awhile. We went to Punto Blanco a fashion design company in Barcelona which sounded awesome. Once we got there however we found out that all they make is socks and we were heading to the factory to watch socks being made. It was extremely interesting for about 10 minutes of the 5 hours we were there. It was cool watching the socks get made bu

Ahh first day of class. We met in the lobby today for breakfast at 730 then headed to IQS University for class. We made the 20 minute walk to the school and sat down in a very old building. Our teacher for the day was very funny and helpful as he talked about Corporate Social Responsibility and the importance of moral responsibility within companies. He told us a story about how Spain39s l

Once we were up we felt fine though. We had a group of 14 that started the night out drinking our 2EU wine from the market before going out to dinner. We left for dinner around 915 which is about 4 hours later than I usually eat s
