                    <title>Monday  Tuesday 14 15th May in Banff</title>
                    <description>Couple of days exploring around Banff. Yesterday went back to Lake Louise to spend more time there. Could see that the lake had melted a little more now.                     <title>Columbia Icefield</title>
                    <description>Full day travelling to the Columbia Icefields today with a stop off at Louise Lake going back there tomorrow for a longer visit but guess what...the lake is still  frozen..didn39t expect that.  Travelling to the Icefields is very scenic  snow capped mountains lakes rivers many glaciers etc.  Heard about the history of the early pioneers and first settlers.                     <title>A day in Banff</title>
                    <description>Spent today in Banff.   Walked downtown and booked a couple of tours for the next few days then had a hot chocolate  cake which were so damn sweet couldn39t eatdrink.  After this caught the bus to the Banff Gondola.  Bit nervous but damn it was good.  Thought I39d have to share the gondola cabin but didn39t ...had one to myself so could oohh and ahhh as much as I liked.  Top of Sulphur </description>

                    <title>Arrival in Banff</title>
                    <description>I am sooo tired.  Up at 1.45am after about 5 hours sleep and been travelling all day.  OK....whinge over...lol just wanted to explain away potential spelling  grammer mistakes in this blog...although probably no more than other blogs I39ve done..lol.First thing I lied...whinge isn39t over yet.                     <title>Back in New York</title>
                    <description>Last day of tour today and travelled from Boston to New York. On way went to Newport Rhode Island...Oh how the other half live. Holiday homes for the Vanderbilts Kennedy39s Firestone etc etc. These homes are mansions and typically were used for 6 weeks a year Houses for their servants manicured grounds yatchs...you name it.                     <description>This morning we did a 2 hour tour around Boston  parts of the Freedom trail.  Lovely town with some beautiful buildings with some old cobbled streets.  This afternoon visited Harvard University...it would be a wonderful place to study.                     <title>Travelling Day</title>
                    <description>Up at 5.45am for an early start today travelling from Quebec City to Boston Weather is damp raining all day and windy....so may as well be on the bus as not comfortable walking in this weather.Anyway not much to blog.                     <title>Old Quebec City</title>
                    <description>Had a 2 hour morning bus tour of Quebec City and then had the whole day and evening to ourselves...bliss. Spent about 4 hours walking around the Old city and just soaking it in. Lunch in a pub and had a cider although had trouble ordering it as waiter thought I was asking for a Soda...lol.                     <title>Montreal and Quebec City</title>
                    <description>French Canada  Did a morning tour of Montreal before heading off to Quebec City.  Love Montreal  which got its name from Mount Royal.  Anyway Montreal they drop the 39t39 is an island with hills although the guide was calling them Mountains but possibly a bit optimistic ...but didn39t have to walk them so may have been a bit judgemental.                     <title>Ottawa then onto Montreal</title>
                    <description>Another walk around Ottawa this morning.  A beautiful city with olde world charm in parts.  Walked around Houses of Parliament Government House and went to a local market.                     <title>Friday 4512 travelling to Ottowa</title>
                    <description>Another travelling day today from Toronto to Ottawa. Lake Ontario finished and instead of travelling the whole way via highways we went along a road that followed the St Lawerene River.   This is the river that has over 1000 tiny islands in it and is the area that the famous Thousand Island Dressing originated.                     <description>Had planned to do the optional extra tour of the CN tower in the city of Toronto this morning however weather was against us.                     <title>Long drive today</title>
                    <description>Not a lot to talk about today. Early start up at 5.30am and on the road to Canada.                     <title>Highlight Day today....Amish Country</title>
                    <description>Gotta say that today has been the best day of the tour so far.  We travelled from Washington DC am over Monuments and Cities at the moment so this was good and headed north towards Lancaster and the Amish Community.                     <title>Washington on Sunday</title>
                    <description>Visited lots of Washington monuments today but started off at the White House.  Pretty impressive and gardens were lovely although this is looking from the outside.
