Tiger Fish catcher Did you take the teeth out or are you a softie? No one says anything about who caught the biggest Tiger or the smallest (fingerling). Where are the photos? Enjoy the journey home.
Canvas eating elephant? Alex....was it an emergency, emergency - abort, abort situation? The photos are great, especially the one through the noculus lens?
Unexpected Yes, it was unexpected to get so many pics. They are great indeed. I realy liked the pictures from above - it gives you that, movie like, panoramic view. Keep enjoying life and be happy.
Adrian, tomorrow I have a rendez-vous with Margy and Colin (from Melbourne).
Love from Stela
Great Blog! Hi guys! Sounds like you're having an awesome time and I've been enjoying the comments immensely - brings back a lot of similar memories! Alex - what HAVE you been smoking? Your underpants probably! But at least you had an epiphany the other day with your daily quote of talking too much - REALLY?! Very jealous guys, keep the news coming. Where have you gone? Love to you all
cost of stuff I have enjoyed following yur blog and have a couple of questions as a group of us from the US are preparong to travel over some of the route you have taken. First I would like to blog our trip as well but not sure what internet access capabilities I will have and/or what equipment i should bring. Second, you said some in one of the blogs about your parents calling during the elephant eating yur tent and i was wondering what phone service you are using. And last, you don't mentin any specifics on cost. Fuel, food, lodging etc. Thanks and keep on having a great time. Alan
I am green I am following the Blog.
Man thes Bloggs are a good Idea.
Yours joggs memories of the Bush and the trials of traveling rough in Africa sometimes.
keep it going I am looking forward to the photos.
How big is your Island ?

Kubu Shew...it sounds like a paradise of upside down trees. Can't wait to see the photos. Sean...go for it in the Landie, put her through her paces and show the Cruiser!! that she is old and has been replaced by the younger, more technical...sigh
Monkeys?... Come on guys, monkies are intelligent and work hard to feed themselves, apart from that, they are amusing (AND NOT ANNOYING) to watch. Bon voyage and don't influence Adrian too much - you know the saying "bad company corrupts good character"
Still waiting Still sitting at the gate. The damned tent is heavy on my back. Should I load it in the Noddy car and meet you at Nata for the trip back??
Drugs & Alcohol Have a safe and fun trip. There are very few of us on this planet who understand the real challenge you're facing and it's nothing to do with jungles, dangerous animals, third world communications ,mossies it all about industrial tourists!
Experience shows that full bodied red wines no less than 14% Abv and strong pain killers are the only effective tools.
