Day 1 So after a few request I've decided to another blog. I just arrived in Interlaken, Switzerland. It's an absolutely STUNNING place, other parts of Switzerland that I've been to don't compare. WOW, time is Flying, only one more day of backpacking, ahhh!! Had a nice day today. 12:30-1:00 Woke up, went to go rent a bike, wanted to visit the sites I didn't get to see yesterday. So I went to get a bike. THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last day in Paris and I couldn't be happier. I got up kinda late, had some time to kill so figured I'd go to the Modern Art Museum. And by modern they mean, must be able to be duplicated by a 1st grader. Check out the line painting you'll see what I mean. Nothing really interesting today as far as stories. Paris is nice, but too romantic of a city to be in it alone (where's Laura??!?) 8:00am-1:00pm got up, ate, played around on the computer, took a nap 1:00pm-3:00pm Took a bus tour, was pretty decent got to see all the major sites. The grandeur and detail of everything is incredible. Notre Dame was especially amazing. They spend literally hundreds of years on some of the buildings, even with an infinite amount of the time, the projects are well beyond the imagination. 10am-2pm Went to the Louvre today. Was extremely crowded, the line was like a mile long. It was free though! that was nice. The place is unbelievably huge. Everything was so intricate there, things you could barely see from so far away like the paintings on the detail were still painted with so much detail. I took some pictures of my favorite things. I'm combining these 2 days together b/c not much happened on the 4th day as I was traveling half the day. Day 3 Day was a little slower than the other ones. The lack of rest and huge amounts of walking were creeping up on me today. First I must say, wow, completely different type of day I had. Not gunna lie, the first day I was gettin a little worried, wasn't sure how I felt about traveling alone. After meeting a few people, I have a completely different outlook. Also, I've realized if you spend longer than a minute talking to the local workers at restaurants and stuff, they really really appreciate it. all in local time 10:00 am Leave train station. Some crazy guy is in the same car as me, entire cart is empty and he is still standing. Starts laughing out of nowhere. I don't know if he was trying to talk to me or just crazy, I'm guessing the latter as he went on for 20 minutes and I never responded. 10:45 am After getting lost a couple of times, finally found the hostel.
