Hey all! Amazing weekend. I have been listening to Yonder Mountain String band for 6+ years now and I FINALLY got to see them live!!!!!!! Uh... absolutely amazing. First... cool story... My first encounter with them. I was on Phish tour (maybe '99 or 2000?) and, if my memory serves me correctly, I was in Camden, NJ (ick. hole) for a show. First, just a quick note. I had a new camera. It ended up sucking. In fact, there was a recall on the model. This was the small point and shoot. The light meter is defective. Unfortunately, this affected a lot of my pictures and I could tell something was wrong during the trip. But, hopefully you will still enjoy... Hi all! I was so excited to have Timber for the weekend. We had a blast. We hiked over 10 miles during the whole weekend and what a time! We raised almost $100 for Lollypop farm and it was blast being around 100 dogs and their owners! kinda funny though... I think most of us owners talk to our dogs in baby talk. This is just my favorite time of the week. There are a bunch of us that have been meeting for quite some time... I joined a year and a half ago when I started whistle. We learn tunes together, play them at a progressively slow pace and REALLY have an awesome time! It's a great place to feel ok to mess up and also to feel great about doing well! Hey all! Took the SLR and point-n-shoot out for an experiments. Most of this blog (the first pictures) are all the SLR which I REALLY don't know how to use yet!. Dave stated this perfectly "we're used to TRICKING our point-&-shoots" and now I have to REALLY learn what I'm doing and I'm not quite a natural at it. So, what you are seeing are mostly on the automatic modes. Friday night I headed up to Toronto for the Ryan Adams show at Massey Hall. Beautiful hall... He is so talented... wasn't crazy about some of the things he said on stage... Seems like an angry fella... unfortunately. Love his songs still and they sounded amazing live! What a wonderful time that was... I decided to look into a ride share for takin' a trip to NYC... 1- to save $ 2 - to meet someone new! Ended up taking this really sweet person down, Mika, from Canada. She was so much fun to have in the car and we had a great time. Also turns out she knows Isaac from college... small world. Hi all! What a 2 weeks it's been... lots of ups and downs, but the downs are not really that bad!
