Hi everyone! So, this was a cool trip... my sister was in from Israel and my brother and I flew down from NY. My father came in and so it was all of us and my grandparents. We swam in the pool, went out to some fine dinners and had a blast hanging out. Well well well... Where to even begin! This was an AMAZING weekend. My friends from Ireland... Miriam, Tommy, Siobhan, Elaine and Brian came to NYC on their way back from Trinidad (playin' gigs). I went down to meet them and what a blast we had. It was so cool because I was able to do the touristy stuff with them... some of which I hadn't done in most of my life! Well... this continued the whirlwind of a week... Amazing time in NYC for Paddy's Day. Sunday night marked a momentous music evening... ah it was amazing. Well... EARLY that monday morning after NYC I flew to Florida to see my father and my grandparents. It was so awesome. We went to St. Augustine a couple times from Jax Beach. Dad and I saw Scythian on Thursday and wow! What an amazing show. ... then down to Fort Lauderdale to visit ALL of my grandparents!!!! Well. To date, the St. Paddy's Day '07 NY trip story has been the best. Some of you may agree that this is right up there with that fiasco! I went to NY this time with some coaxing form Allison because the APAP conference was that weekend and TONS of amazing musicians were expected to be in town. And that was basically an understatement. Friday I arrived and went right to Caitlin's gig at The Parlour where Dennis, Rob and Kyle played some awesome bluegrass to start. Uh it was great!
