I left Galway Sunday and Siobhan and Tommy picked me up in Longford after taking the bus. We arrived into Drumbshambo and were quickly (kinda) able to get back into the swing of things. Hey all! Thursday I headed down to Kilrush. And so I know I’ve been vague… sorry about that. Friends, Family… Meet Aidan. So... right off of Willy Clancy, Miriam and I went to Clonmel... where her and Siobhan live. There I met her parents and did some laundry and hung up my dent to dry out. It was awesome to be in a house again... and it was awesome to be in their house! Mir and I went to the Julie Fowlis gig where Martin was playin' bodhran and Tony Byrne was on guitar... super excited. They were opening for Danu. Yay! It was so awesome. What a wild wild wonderful whistful Willy Week. Honestly... really can't think of a better time I've had in miltown! Elaine and I drove from Galway on Saturday and set up camp at this great new place that Siobhan and friends arranged for all of us. It was in a camper park but there was a small little patch of grass on which they let a few of us pitch. June 28 - Ooooops! Not quite ready... decided to leave to NYC on Sunday instead! June 29 - Without the help of Mom & Charlie I Would have NEVER Departed for NYC on time! I had a stop in Utica to see my awesome, wonderful, bestest ever pooch, Timber. We had a nice walk and had some fun for a little while! Hi all! So, I'm a little late on this blog, but still... putting it up anyway! The weeks leading up to my departure were both REALLY stressful and REALLY fun. May 30 - the yearbooks were distributed to the students. It was a bit melancholy because it was the last time I would hand over these books, which took months and months of work to make, to 600+ students! It's a very cool day... classes are shortened and at the end, they get their yearbooks and go outside to sign them. Some students bands played so we had some nice music. [View Full Entry]

Hi all! So, it's been a crazy couple of weeks trying to pull everything together, but in the midst of it, we had a special day to celebrate... wait... lemme take that back... a special MONTH! Mom turned 60... yeah I know, doesn't look at day over 30, does she!!! So, on the day of her actual birthday, we did a 5k walk for Kenya... a walk organized by some students and a retired faculty member of my school to help children in Kenya. That's kinda what I feel like while preparing for my departure from Rochester... from New York... from America... from my apartment... from my car... from my job... from my health insurance... It's all sorta hitting at once! Now, don't get me wrong... I'm SUPER excited and many wonderful things have happened since I started preparing. I had a wonderful garage sale about 2 weeks ago. Thanks to Mom and Charlie, Dad and Grandmom Dee who helped a ton by donating items and their time. I made a TON of money that is going to pay off some debt before I leave. [View Full Entry]

Hi everyone! So, this was a cool trip... my sister was in from Israel and my brother and I flew down from NY. My father came in and so it was all of us and my grandparents. We swam in the pool, went out to some fine dinners and had a blast hanging out.
