Hey all! So, Andrea hung around for a couple days, yay and we kinda couldn't do much as we were wrecked from the birthday weekend madness... But we did manage to make it out for the session at Coilis :) Then, the following night... a Beatles night in Salthill!!!! completely awesome. Well... I wish I could tell you I'm surprised that my birthday ended up like this! I mean, after all, I am here and who could expect anything different? It lasted nearly a week (those of you who know me well know that this did NOT disappoint me) and it was the best time ever. Hey all! (make sure to look at the video above :) Well I missed up there so headed for a weekend. Prior to leaving there were loads of issues with work permits, visas, etc. Looks as if i won't be able to keep my job at the restaurant because they need a work permit ... which they didn't bother to tell me ahead of time! Hey all :) It's been a REALLY big week here :) Well, after my last entry, I went out job hunting and within a short time landed a full-time waitressing position in a fine dining restaurant. Well, i know what yer all thinkin' and that's ok cuz it's true, but i was pretty honest with him regarding my lack of exact experience, but he was very trusting of my willingness to learn and hired me right on the spot. Well... it's been a WONDERFUL few days. We had a great time toolin' around Galway... breakin' Andrea in for the place! Election day was mad :) We were out in the pubs early just lookin' for something on TV, but it wasn't there... So, we went home for a bit, hung about, chatted and then went back out. Spent most of the night in Coili's and met two girls, Grace (Oregon, US) and Kim (England). Had fun with them... Then went to Quay's and watched the election... met Jason there... fun. (this was meant to be up yesterday all)... Well. Happy November to everyone. This has been quite a whirlwind of a week. Currently, I am back in Galway as I write this and it's been an adventure. Ah what a weekend. Andrea and I left the farm to head to Longford for the Banjo festival. I've wanted to go to this for years, but am always teaching! I was so excited. We had an abosolute blast ... took the bus to Cavan and then hitched our way to longford from there. Met some wonderful people along the way and had loads of laughs. We arrived and Andrea was so tired that she went to sleep and didn't wake up until the next morning! poor Andrea! But she needed it. We were wrecked upon arriving to Longford.
