HI ALL! Been a scarce thing this internet... it's a bit nice actually! But, managed to get al these photos up for ya. We left Christchurch last week (actually, we have totally lost track of days and dates, but we think it was Thursday) and headed to Lil & Steven's in Sumner (a short way out of Christchurch). We arrived to Christchurch late last Friday and it was pouring... sweet man was driving the shuttle that brought us to the hostel/jail... ha. Got there and was exhausted. The next couple days we spent recovering from our sunburns (yay for aloe) and shopping for a van and contents... we found an awesome Toyota and bought it... her... Sally! Well! What a journey. We traveled from Laura and Lewis' house in London to Hethrow to catch our flight. All in all everything went very smoothly, but when you factor in sitting in the same position for 20 hours, well, you can imagine we were a bit wrecked upon arriving to Sydney! We arrived to London on Saturday morning... Pat, myself and Gary traveled from Irvinestown to Belfast and flew from there. It was a bit hectic as it had been a long and tiring week going home and packing... Gary finishing his portfolio, etc. We were very tired. Hi all! So, at the last second, I decided to take a quick side trip to Philly to see my grandparents... and my mom, Charlie & Dad... It was so wonderful, even though it was a difficult trip seeing as I went on Wednesday and flew back on Thursday! Had a blast... Thanks to all for makin' it so fun. What a wonderful last week this has been ... Gary's family has ben wonderful and his friends are the best. Clare arranged (and kept secret) for Andrea to come surprise me/us for our last night out saturday! it was amazing! Neil came in from Dublin and his folks and Michelle took us out to a lovely dinner ... awesome family pic! We had an absolute BLAST that night... thank you everyone! hey all... sorry it's been ages since my last blog... but I've been busy. I returned north on election day and watch the beautiful inauguration in Gary's comfy living room :) For the next couple of weeks we were working hard... Well all! I know... it's been forever since I've put a blog up... I've been super busy... that's good! So... what's happened since I last caught you up? Loads... I moved out of my apartment and the wonderful Gary came to pick me up in Galway and trucked me, and my shit, back up north... where the wonderful Teresa is letting me store it in her attic. Well... to date one of the best holiday seasons I've had in ages. Ok... totally miss the snow, but we can get over that :) :) The weekend before Christmas, Gary came to visit in Galway and we had a lovely, relaxing weekend while we were both still tryin' to get over the flu. Hey all! So, Andrea hung around for a couple days, yay and we kinda couldn't do much as we were wrecked from the birthday weekend madness... But we did manage to make it out for the session at Coilis :) Then, the following night... a Beatles night in Salthill!!!! completely awesome.
