Hello all! My last day in Prague was just wonderful... the castle, st. vitus church and view from the 300 stairs... I climbed to the top... was beautiful but not as nice as some of the sights walking around Prague so... i walked and walked and walked for 2 straight days! I took the evening train to Dresden and then Leipzig where Dana (Corey's girlfriend) and her family welcomed me at midnight and brought me to their home... Hey everyone! So, after my 14 hour, long, sad trip leaving Switzerland, I arrived to the most beautiful city I have ever seen. Hi all! So, I spent 2 more days in Switzerland. The afternoon after my last entry, I went to these cool caves and took a tour through them. I kept getting in trouble because I was the only English speaking person and I didn't want to stay with the tour... rather, hang back at the end, take my time and take cool pictures! These are absolutely my favorite pictures so far... ------------------------------- The reunion with Ted was wonderful and it was so amazing to be back in the beautiful mountains... not too much info here! Sorry! So, we took a nice walk around where he lives and he showed me some beautiful views. He cooked some great food that day and all was fun! So, we arrived in the Rome train station and this nice guy from Galway, Ireland told us about a campsite called Tiber... so, we headed there to say! On our way we met 2 Englishmen, Nick & Rob and ended up spending the next 2 days with them. Rob was hysterical and Nick was such a wonderful person to talk to. Well! I'm finally able to work on this journal! Florence... ah... Firenze... it was so nice. The first night we went out with 2 girls from Belgium that we met in our hostel room... oh this we is Heather, the girl I met in Certaldo... So, we went out to a bar called the Dublin pub and met two very interesting men named Vincenzo and Jean Luca... They were extremely persistence and I just felt a bit uncomfortable with being around them, but we still hung around them all night and ended up going to some music festival that was definately [View Full Entry]

Hey all! Last night in Certaldo was awesome! We hung out at the hostel and had such a good time. Most of the people there were from England and there were a couple Americans... we drank wine all night and had a blast! in the morning we got up and 5 of us headed to Florence. Three of them, Jack, Will and Louise headed to Rome and Heather came with me to Florence. This hostel is awesome and this city is just beautiful. Hi, everyone! Sorry for the lack of communication. I have just been enjoying Italy so much that I have not really had time for internet... So, my trip to Cinque Terre was a tough one. I ended up linking up with these 2 guys I met at Balmer's in Interlaken and we travelled to Italy together. The second train was a couchette (sleeper train) and so I slept in a tiny, tiny room with 4 other people. It was weird and I was a bit sad so I didn't get much sleep. Ok.. so that next morning I left for Pisa. I met these 2 guys in La Spietsa (where we were stuck because of bad train timing things) and we went to Pisa together. I was only there for, tops, 1.5 hours. I just took my pictures, enjoyed the beautiful leaning tower and then moved on (oh, i FINALLY found a new journal here!)... So, got on the train to Certaldo... it took a couple hours and a few changes, but I finally found the cable care back up to Certaldo Alto... I walked into this beautiful place and just was stunned.
